Panisté was a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area. The rooms were great, with really nice views of the mountains and hills nearby. It felt like we were far away from everything. The restaurant was really tasty as well, and they were very accommodating of my food intolerances (dairy). I highly recommend the temascal - a steam room Guatemalan style, where a wood fire heats rocks that you then put water on to create steam in a brick dome. We also wandered around the grounds, seeing all the gardens and coffee plants. The pool was also great - a little heated given the cool day we were there. It almost felt like we were the only people staying there - we saw more staff than guests, so enjoyed some truly peaceful days during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Boutique Y Restaurante Panisté. The rooms are big, spacious and clean. The balcony overlooking the garden was nice and beautiful. We really enjoyed and loved using the spacious sauna.

No screens on windows in cabins so be aware of mosquitos as they are everywhere and will keep you awake all night. Between the roof and ceiling you can hear noises like screeches/growls they may be rats or other animals. The property has beautiful gardens but unfortunately it seems administration did not check on rooms before they get reserved and did not acknowledge the situation. Administrator told us that they do not have screens on windows because people have different tolerances to mosquitos. No justification for this as this can detonate allergies or bring diseases. We did not received any compensation/discount or apology. We encourage administration to take into consideration this assessment as the hotel and place are beautiful. It just need commitment, understanding and empathy.

This hotel cancelled the reservation without prior notice upon arrival, documented by Expedia. No apology whatsoever and no help in getting allocated somewhere else. Hope this helps fellow tourists upon arrival ar this hotel. Not a reliable hotel.

Una experiencia UNICA y NATURAL.
La experiencia de este fin de semana en Alta Verapaz solo me termina de confirmar que vivimos en el pais de LA ETERNA PRIMAVERA, un hotel para disfrutar de la naturaleza y la buena cocina. Un lujo para estar cerca de otra maravillas naturales de Alta Verapaz. 100 % recomendable.

Lindo Hotel
Lindo el hotel muy cómodo y excelente servicio. La comida muy rica. Las ventanas no son insuladas las una mañana nos despertó una moto sierra a las 6:50 y la segunda mañana el ruido de otra familia en el balcón. No hay aire acondicionado, seria bueno tener un ventilador en el cuarto que había mucho calor.

El hotel es lindo pero el restaurante es deficient
El hotel es muy bonito! Cuando viajamos a Coban es nuestro lugar favorito para hospedarnos; pero desde la ultima vez a nos hospedamos hemos tenido problemas con el servicio en el restaurante! Las 2 noches que estuvimos el restaurante estaba a tope, y solo había 1 mesero para todo el restaurante! En los desayunos no fue la excepción, y aunq los meseros traten de dar lo mejor de ellos, xq lo hacen, no se dan abasto! Entendemos que no siempre hay mucho movimiento, pero teniendo acceso y los registros del hotel deberían de contratar a más personal para esos días movidos y así poder terminar de hacer más agradable la estancia! Por otro lado, Q50 por un plato de frutas como el de la foto, donde la piña estaba súper ácida , en un hotel como lo es Paniste… deja mucho que desear! Habiendo tanta fruta tan rica en Guatemala podrían mejorar su plato de frutas y complementarlo con un poco de yogurt o granola! La habitación Presidencial es genial para familias, a nosotros nos encanta! Solamente tuvimos el inconveniente con la ducha q se filtra el agua y casi nos caemos! Así mismo la televisión no funcionó ninguno de los 2 días, el cable estaba pésimo! El hotel como lo menciono es precioso, y poniéndole atención q estos puntos pueden hacerlo aún mejor de lo que ya es! Esperamos tomen en cuenta nuestros comentarios, en especial lo del restaurante y la falta de personal ya que lo hemos dicho varias veces y sigue igual! El personal es muy amable y trata de dar lo mejor de ellos

Lo que me gusto fue el lugar donde esta, lejos de la civilización, con muchos arboles, flores, piscina y otras actividades. Lo que puede mejorar son los horarios de piscina, que no se cierre temprano y de igual forma el gimnasio.
