If you want a place that has homeless sleeping in the stairwells, the smell of pee around the elevator. Staff screaming at each other all through the night. this is your place. we had 2 rooms for 1 night room one the shower area ceiling was falling down over night the bathroom floor was soaked when we went to use it. Staff did nothing about it when notified before midnight. they lock the elevator to the check in area and front door at 8 pm. Most likely because of the homeless that seem to live there. This is your place. Negative 10 Stars from our stay

Oh, where do I begin! We were pleasantly surprised at the size and cleanliness of the room. No cigarette smells and no homeless people hanging around. Security on site and seen several times walking the parking lot. I’m a native of SD so I was there to show my friend the sites. This Hotels is literally seen right off the side of the 8 freeway and is convenient to quickly hop on and off the freeway wether your going west to downtown and the beaches or east to try your luck at the casinos. Free breakfast has homemade waffles. Full size refrigerators and microwave in each room and very friendly housekeeping staff and front desk. Parking is $5 per day You will definitely enjoy your stay here!

The whole property stinks with smell of Weed and smoke. Rooms were really dirty with no floors cleaned. Bathrooms were dirty and towels were not clean. Towels even had the hairs and insects on it. Bathtub was dirty with hairs around. One of the worst property I have ever seen. Moreover, property doen't have a good staff at front desk they were rude. The night shift guy when I asked for extra towel was making face and give look as if I have asked him to some extra work. While the morning shift lady when asked for clean towels was like we don't have the towels. Seriously, you are running a motel and you don't have towels.

Buen lugar, habitación espaciosa y cómoda... Los únicos problemas fueron que parece que había chinches en la cama y que algunos huéspedes no respetaban las horas de descanso. Fuera de eso la estancia fue cómoda

I liked the location of the place and the size of the room. However, the bathroom needs a lot of attention as the sink was clogged, the tiny toilet was running, the shower was dirty and, even when it’s a room for two people, they didn’t put enough towels in the bathroom

There was a domestic disturbance and I notified the front desk and he did nothing about it. Seven minutes later, the window was shattered next to our room. My daughter and I were terrified, and I had to dispatch the police myself. We had to pack up quickly close and leave in fear. Now they’re fighting giving me a refund even though we couldn’t stay there due to safety issues-We had to find and pay for another hotel at midnight. I would give them zero stars or negative stars if I possibly could. It’s astounding the corporations wonder why they lose market share? It’s because their minimum wage managers refuse to give refunds to the good, quiet and frequent travelers with a valid argument for why the refund is warranted. Not only will I never stay at this hotel chain again I will tell everyone I know not to either either. I’m also unhappy with how Expedia handled the situation situation.

Prejudice and Thieves They told us the system was down then soon as we walked away they checked a white woman in we asked her did they check her in she said yes so we went back to the window I made my reservation through Expedia the said they canceled my reservation because there was no room and they still charged me if it don’t get my money back I’m gonna sue

Do not book here, unless you want to catch something that will take 7-10 days of heavy medication to get rid of! This place is flat out gross. Floors are dirty, hair in the sinks and the smell of cigarette smoke lingers everywhere. Lord knows what a black light would show in this place. The facilities are in poor condition. The front desk clerk was completely rude and barely even bothered to discuss where the room was located, how the parking worked and how check out worked. Seriously do not stay here.

I've stayed at alot of hotel's. With that said, this is a Wyndham owned property located in San Diego taboot. So much to note in a review. For starters, alot of trash in the parking lot ie; oil bottles, trash. Rooms are not clean. The head boards were filthy. Curtains had holes, the a/c wasn't mounted properly with air flow from outside. Bedding sheets were clean, but the actual blankets were thin with seemed to be cigg burn holes. Overall the housekeeping needs to be improved immensely by management. If there's no money in the budget to upgrade the facility then the upkeep should be 5 star level. To have paid $400 for two nights comparably to other surrounding hotel's, I wouldn't have stayed here. Don't except much staying here. I knew what I had just committed to so I owned the decision and stayed. Honestly, we all make mistakes and this was a lesson learned. Take your chances and stay here or choose another hotel and sleep sound spending a couple hundred dollars more elsewhere. Trust!

the facility was advertised as non smoking but the whole place smelled awful of stale smoke and marijuana. we never could get the smell out of the bathroom even leaving the door open the whole time; there was no fan in there. we paid for a kitchenette suite, it only had a mini fridge and microwave tucked in a corner. the toilet didn’t flush, you had to open the tank and pull the lever every time. there was hair all over in the shower and the handle fell off every time you touched it. there was no remote so we couldn’t watch tv, tried to call the front desk to tell them but the phone in the room didn’t work. we stayed for 2 nights, the elevator was broken one of the days. we checked out a day early, i’m hoping to get a refund. i’m very disappointed, it’s nothing like the photos advertised on the website.

I really like the room with the kitchenette, rooms were clean, bed was comfortable pillows were not. The man checking me in was matter of fact and argued about the room I requested when we went to the room and it wasn’t what I had paid for which was the 2 bed kitchenette and went back to the office to have it corrected. I requested service one day to have the trash emptied, bed made and fresh towels. Got back to the room late that night and nothing was done. Was on the phone requesting clean towels, toilet paper and trash bags so we could empty our trash. They said it was miscommunication, I’m assuming on their part since I was perfectly clear with what I was requesting. The next day was better with my request, however, kept leaving 2 bath towels with 3 people in the room. It was quit comical watching my husband dry off with a hand towel. The first time we stayed was excellent which is why we stayed again this time not so much! The location is convenient for me and the area was comfortable. I did see a homeless individual, however sadly that’s everywhere anymore. My first time the review would have been excellent this time unfortunately my experience was far from acceptable for what we pay for a room we hardly occupy. Hopefully if we choose to try again the service we receive will be more like the first stay then the second.

The sheets and the towels looked clean. However, there was a very bad smell in the room that didn’t go away even though I left the window open for four days. The parking is extremely difficult in that area and my TV never worked for four days, however, I had an Amazon package delivered to that hotel, which I received And I was happy about it. If you come late at night, the reception is closed and you have to talk with the staff through a window in the parking basement breakfast is provided but it was not appealing enough to convince me to eat anything however, the pool area looked very nice , but I didn’t get a chance to go there since it was raining they can really do a little better. The kitchen area in the room did not win my trust so I tried to stay away from it do something about the smell in the room.

We paid extra for a kitchen room, only to arrive and get tolt that there were no cooking utensils, pans or dishes available. There was a sign on the bathroom mirror that said the room would be refreshed every 3 days. It didn't happen and the desk informed us that we had to ask for service. We asked and it still didn't happen. Breakfast was mediocre and the other guests were hauling out as much food as they could carry. Stay Away!

This is a a pretty nice hotel to stay in for the price. The staff were courteous and it’s in a good area with shops and restaurants. The only thing is they will charge for parking.

I had reserved a handicapped room 2 months in advance, & then called the hotel to VERIFY the handicapped room for my husband. The room was confirmed. When we arrived, we were told there was no handicapped room. When we finally were given a room, there was water standing in the bathtub, the room was dirty and the rooms were so noisy!!

Maria was the one we saw first & most- She was AMAZING!!!! The night shift guy needs a lot of customer service learning. He was on his cell phone while talking to me, laughed about my complaint and did nothing for the problem. The door didn't close all the way, but we were already settled, and it locked, so we put a chair in front of it. I had to go down and ask for a plunger for the toilet 3 times- took over an hour half to get a plunger. The rooms on each side of us were noisy. One side is a regular extended stay and they fought each night. Throwing out the F*bombs like nothing. Was advised if we ever came back we'd get a discount. Don't see that happening.

Ugly place dirty and badly maintained
It was cold unusual in San Diego and in 2 rooms that we changed the heater was not working. In the first very dirty , locker on door broken and tv not working. Second room was little more cleaner heater not working and fridge very noisy I have to unplug it. No proper blankets to the low temperature. Employee was nice enough to exchange my room on complain but the is in a very poor state and is not a cheap one.

This is the first time I was very disappointed on housekeeping. I left my cell phone charger and cable in the room. I called later and during a period of 4-5 days. Nobody could do anything about it. ... please call tomorrow, please call tomorrow again in the Moy.....bla bla. Obviously someone just pocketed my charger. I had to buy another one. I'll never stay in this hotel again....EVER!!!. Don't leave anything in the room.... you'll never get it back.

Just to spend the night.
The reception was good and friendly. The cleanliness wasn't that good. The floors were VERY DIRTY, found coins on the floor, an empty bag of peanuts under the bed, you could even see the dirt in the corners of the room, this room wasn't swept at all. The bathroom was clean though as was the kitchenette and the fridge. There was a heating stove top on the counter, but without knobs. Breakfast was very basic.
