The only issues I had were the bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the heat wasn’t working in the building. Its was around 40’ degrees at night. They did give me a space heater but it was still cold.

This hotel was great! A little small but it was renovated and cleaned. The only thing I didn’t like was ine of the towels was dirty. Like a black spot but other than that it was surprisingly good. I will come back.

This is my go-to spot for when I’m in the Bay Area for both work/play. It has the old SF architecture with a modern/redone feel. The beds are comfy, there is a safe/well lit parking garage right behind it (not part of the hotel).

Als VIP konnten wir bereits vor 12 Uhr einchecken und bekamen ein Willkommens-Paket mit Hausschuhen, Wasser, Waffeln und einem Starbucks Gutschein. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut und die Lage am Union Square ist fantastisch. Wir durften am Abreisetag unser Gepäck bis abends lagern und konnten uns bequem nochmal frisch machen und für den Heimflug umziehen. Wir wurden unglaublich freundlich willkommen geheißen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Staff was very friendly and hospitable. Location is perfect and safe for walking even at night. At the doorsteps of Chinatown, galleries nearby, short walk to SFMoMA, gelato across the street is yummm! Parking is $42 a night at the White House garage but on Sat/Sun you can park on the street for free (read the signs). Elevator is slow.

This was not my favorite stay. Upon arrival there was a member of the cleaning crew using my room as a break room. I was offered a “free upgrade” to a larger bed which just makes the small rooms feel smaller. The upgraded room was also located right next to the noisy elevator. The walls are so thin you can hear absolutely every visitor on your floor. I checked out a day early was not asked why or offered a refund for my unused night. They also expect a $100 security deposit when all their “amenities” are already broken. There’s no working heater and no a/c. The wood floors which would be a beautiful look are insanely dirty. I would not return. So much money for a horrible experience.

Had a great stay! Staff was friendly and place was very clean! They offered complimentary drinks for the bar next door where they also had great service and karaoke! Only thing is there was no kitchen so we had to eat out a lot more but that wasn’t bad we got a chance to experience the city!

Room is little bit on the small size but very neat, comfortable, and clean. There is no vallet parking as claimed on hotel website, but no worry, there is a public parking a cross the street name White House Public Parking. You can park your car overnight there safely. This hotel is close to Union Square, China Town, lots of shopping stores close by, and lots of restaurants you can walk to.

Over all experience was bad . No hot water at property, we have to go to next block for shower because of no hot water. Assistant manager had a very bad and blunt attitude. I suggest to send him for a refresher customer service course. Rest staff was good.

Great location and very nice hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly! I had issues with my room and called the front desk after midnight. The situation was handled wonderfully and I got assigned to a new room within two minutes. To the person working that night (12/13-12/14): I apologize for not catching your name due to sleep deprivation, but I wanted to thank you for the great service and kind understanding. Top-notch!

Possibly the worst check in experience of my life. Even with a heads up to the hotel, there was no one at the registration desk for 30 MINUTES after I arrived from the airport. The main doors were locked so I was stuck outside for 20 minutes before a guest let me in, then I waited an additional 10 minutes for the person to finally arrive. What a nightmare

Loud and don't expect a shower
No shower water pressure (water dribbles out of shower head and is so weak you can barely get wet). Due to how far the shower knob sticks out from the wall and how close shower head is to the wall, getting under the trickle of water is challenging. Also, incredibly noisy with street noise all night (from about 10pm-1am). It sounded like a string of trash trucks were clearing out dumpsters full of glass bottles.

No front desk attendant
When I went to checkout there was nobody at the front desk and the front door was propped open. I waited 15 minutes before leaving. There was no sign saying anything about there not being a person there

The room was clean and tidy. Very comfortable bed and pillows the only thing was that my room was just next to the elevator which made it very noisy at night .

Positief: Netheid, personeel en service, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
The service at this hotel is excellent. The rooms are extremely well designed, comfortable and quiet. In addition, this hotel is close to public transportation-the Montgomery B.A.R.T. station is a short walk away. Shopping is also close by.
