I'm suspecting this place used to be a boarding house at one time. One shared bathroom for the whole floor. Three shared showers. There was paint chipping around the vanity mirror in room. All the bedding, while clean, had some sort of stain on it. The night club next door is noisy until 2am most nights. The ventilation system has some sort of mold issue as I contacted a chest cold that would clear up when i left for the day. In the last day, at around 6am, somebody went around and sprayed a fire extinguisher on both floors causing the fire alarms to go off and alert the fire department. Don't stay here.

Great location (the reason why I booked here) but the property is run down and dirty. The first room they put me in hadn’t been cleaned yet and smelled like an all night party just ended (sex and weed) One toilet per floor and three individual shower rooms (at least on the second floor) super awkward and inconvenient.

This is a boarding house with long term tenants who have mental health issues, drug problems and the like. It is not suitable for holiday accommodation. I am shocked that Expedia lists it on their site. Surely they have a duty of care to their customers. Given that this property is in SF it wouldn’t be hard for Expedia to inspect the site. I am now rethinking use of this site after this experience. People screaming at each other throughout the night. A tennant locked in the only share toilet for hours on end, the smell of dog poo and the stench of pot throughout the property were just a few of the highlights. Shame on you Expedia.

Only Good for Clubbing
The Inn at Folsom sits on top F8 nightclub. The music and talking is so loud that we could not stay to sleep. Bathrooms are not in the rooms. They are down the hall. We checked out 30 minutes after arrival. They refused to refund our money.

When we arrived we had trouble locating it, it was hidden, with a crowd of people hanging close by. We had to walk through a cloud of Marijuana smoke to get to the door. The room was dirty. We knew the bathroom was shared but we weren't expecting the shower down the hall to not have anywhere to set our clothing. Campground showers are better. The toilet was strictly a toilet. To wash my hands i had to go all the way back to my room. In our room we could hear everything. The night club below us booming all night. The people down the hall arguing. The hotel advertised continental breakfast, no such thing, in fact where the continental breakfast must have been at one time, there was a sign that said if it's not your food, don't touch it. The couch in there was ripped to shreds. We only stayed the first night out of the 4 we booked. We didn't feel safe or clean being there. We waited at the desk to tell them we were leaving, no one came to the front desk, so we left our keys in the room and left.

Blood and mold stains
We checked in and saw our room and it was dirty . There was blood splatters on the sheets , the walls where filthy and stained . And all around the sink was black mold. We have stayed here many time before the pandemic years ago with no issues . We where in the room for only a few minutes then decided to just leave to another hotel unfortunately. This place has great potential if it was kept up.

I have stayed at the Inn on Folsom before. This is a family run business. The rooms are quiet and clean. Due to Covid-19 the kitchen area machines, ie: coffee and soda are not in service. The building has a secured front entrance that can be opened with your room card. You have to walk stairs to the check in area as well as to the rooms. I enjoyed my stay and will come back in the future.

Wonderful stay
The inn on Folsom was great. Super clean. I checked in late and the man was so nice and helpful. It was quite and had a very welcoming feel. I would love to stay here again.

I didn't have any problem to check in, the receptionist was nice and he showed me how serious they take the Covid-19 wearing a mask, using hands sanitizer, etc. I went to the dinning area looking for spoons and a woman who was seated there asked me in a very rude attitude what I'm looking for?, I answered spoons and she told me very upset "nobody can be in this area". Then, I got my second delivery, pizza and waiting for my boyfriend the pizza got cold. When my boyfriend arrived the same woman stopped us and told me in front my boyfriend "you are no allowed to have visitors and you had already to many, there is a girl in your room right now" THAT WASN'T TRUE. I told her "what are you talking about, want to go with me and check my room? Smiling and very sarcastic told me "no thank you, I don't want to see that room". Then, I went to the dinning room area to use the microwave and I found all the chair making a line to don't people cross that area, but my boyfriend was hungry and I didn't want to let him eat a cold pizza, so I reheat some slices. When I wanted to use the microwave again, it wasn't there anymore. Also when I had made the reservation breakfast WAS included, I just double check again now (Jun 26, 2020), still offered on the website and App the same, "Continental breakfast included". WELL, LET TELL YOU SOMETHING, THAT IS NOT TRUE. When I asked about breakfast the answer was “NO BREAKBAST HERE”. Are these people hate gay people? I’m offended and upset.

the place was right on top of a nightclub which played loud music till 2am bathroom was directly across the hall which was also somewhat of a problem but. I invited a friend in which was nice to be able to do without having anyone say a word about it but we had sex and the bed made all kinds of noise

This place was awful. From the prison showers to the very rude staff who came and knocked on our door to tell us to turn the ceiling fan off cause we don’t need it. The rooms were falling apart, broken furniture, walls had holes and paint chipping.. the shared bathroom and showers were extremely gross. There is a night club next door, so it’s loud all might long. Spend the extra $20 a night and stay somewhere else.

Place smelled of Indian food, there was a night club located underneath the hotel and blasted the loudest bass that I have ever felt until 2 am, no bathroom or showers located in room, noisy, no heat or a/c, etc...

 早朝のロサンゼルス行きFLIXBUS利用の為、バス停のあるCALTRAIN駅周辺でホテルを探し、ギリギリ徒歩圏内だったので宿泊しました。周辺の他より低価格で口コミも悪くなかったのが決定理由です。地下鉄の駅からは徒歩約10分。オーナーは優しい方で丁寧にチェックインしてくれました。WIFIは不自由なく使用できました。コーヒーがフリーでいただけるのが嬉しかったです。トイレとシャワーは共用したが清潔にされており気持ちよく使用できました。ホテルの入り口はオートロックでチェックイン時はベルを鳴らし、滞在中はカードキーを使用します。ただ、部屋にエアコンが無く、冷え込んだ夜は少し寒く感じました。また、隣がクラブのようで、夜遅くに若干音が気になりました。個人的には寝れないほどではありませんでした。
