De ruimte
De ruime slaapkamer op tuinniveau is licht en helder. De hoofdkamer is nieuw gebouwd in september 2016 en beschikt over een luxe queensize bed, comfortabele stoelen, tv, een grote kast en een grote keuken met een gasfornuis. De gloednieuwe luxdouche biedt een inloopdouche en Grohe-armaturen. Modern design en inrichting, met een uitklapbare bank en eetruimte voor comfortabel wonen.
Gasttoegang
De unit heeft een eigen ingang. Gasten hebben toegang tot de ruime achtertuin. Het is momenteel in aanbouw, dus het gebruik ervan wordt niet aanbevolen. Er is geen was beschikbaar voor deze unit, maar we hebben wel een wasserette 3 blokken verderop, evenals lokale wasservice opties.
Interactie met gasten
Normaal gesproken laten we onze gasten achter voor een rustig verblijf en onderbreken ze hen meestal niet. We bieden een uitgebreid welkomstboek met informatie over alles, van bezorging van eten, lokaal vervoer, internettoegang en uit eten gaan / entertainment. Als onze gasten vragen of andere behoeften hebben, verwelkomen we u graag en helpen we u graag verder! We wonen boven.
De buurt
De Inner Sunset is een mooie en pittoreske buurt die centraal gelegen is in San Francisco. Het is een zeer gewilde bestemming geworden en is bij velen geliefd vanwege zijn gezinsvriendelijke sfeer, heerlijk eten en coffeeshops, zonnig weer en relaxte houding. Het appartement ligt op loopafstand van Golden Gate Park en Irving Street winkels en markten, waaronder Nopalito, Park Chow, Arizmendi's, Roxie Market, Sunday's Farmer's Market en San Franpsycho. Alles wat u nodig zou kunnen hebben is binnen een paar blokken van het pand en we weten dat u net zo graag hier zult zijn als wij.
Zich verplaatsen
Het MUNI-bussysteem van San Francisco bevindt zich op 1 straat afstand op Moraga en 9th Avenue. Vanaf daar kun je echt overal in San Francisco gaan. De bus rijdt door de wijk Haight-Ashbury, Hayes Valley, Market Street en de Embarcadero. De N-Judah-trein is drie blokken verderop. De N-Juda neemt je mee naar het westen naar Ocean Beach en het oosten door de wijk Cole Valley en dan door Market Street naar Embarcadero.
Als een auto is wat u zoekt, raden wij u aan een van de privédiensten (Uber, Lyft, enz.) Of Zip-auto met ophaallocaties op korte loopafstand van ons huis. De gemakkelijkste manier om van het vliegveld naar de accommodatie te komen, is via taxi, Uber of Lyft. Een andere optie is om BART de stad in te nemen (24th / Mission stop) en vervolgens een bus of taxi naar het westen in Noe Valley te nemen.
Als je je eigen auto hebt, is parkeren geen probleem in deze buurt. Een zeldzaamheid in onze prachtige stad! Een half blok ten zuiden van het pand, kunt u onbeperkt parkeren, zodat u uw auto op straat kunt parkeren voor de duur van uw verblijf (lees borden voor uitzonderingen op straatreiniging).

Houd er ook rekening mee dat dit een rustig familiehuis is. We hebben 2 kinderen die om 07:00 uur wakker zijn en om 20:00 uur naar bed gaan. Je hoort ons af en toe boven, hoewel de gastunit is geïsoleerd voor geluid, zodat elke overdracht gedempt is. De perfecte gasten zijn degenen die rustig van het apparaat willen genieten. Lees de huisregels zorgvuldig door om te zien of dit de juiste keuze is voor uw bezoek aan San Francisco. Dank je!

Sunset Gem

I'm so pleased to have found this little gem in the Sunset for our stay while my husband had a procedure at UCSF (about a 1 mile walk from the property). When we had to extend our stay due to medical complications, Dominic went out of his way to make it happen. The property is clean, uncluttered, has an excellently stocked kitchen, a comfortable bed, good water pressure with lots of hot water. I am a light sleeper and didn't hear a sound all night - or day either, for that matter. Dominic always responded promptly by email to any questions or requests - a wonderful host. Parking was not a problem. A very safe, quiet neighborhood, if not a good hike up the hill from the take-out restaurants on Irving. Would we stay again? Absolutely, on our next trip to UCSF! Thank you, Dominic.

Great base for a visit to the Inner Sunset neighborhood of SF

First of all, location, location, location. The property is in the Inner Sunset, toward Golden Gate Heights, a quiet residential neighborhood in SF, but very close to great stuff. The apartment is a 15-minute downhill walk to the busy commercial strip along Ninth Avenue/Irving (great restaurants, bakeries, bars), Golden Gate Park, The DeYoung Museum, the SF Botanical Garden (spectacular at all seasons -- and do try the 1:30 free daily tour!), and, well, the views to the north of the Golden Gate Bridge, and to the West of the Pacific Ocean. It's a spectacular location. We have a daughter in the neighborhood, so it was perfect for us, and so vastly nicer than the touristy downtown SF area. The apartment itself is very clean, functional, and easy. The bed is comfortable, and we both slept very well. The kitchen is easy to work in, though we didn't do any ambitious cooking, just oatmeal in the morning. The living room is large, and a bit spartan -- one of the couches is a little uncomfortable -- and it would be nice if there were a couple of extra little end tables and lamps. But there's a nice kitchen/dining room table, which was very good for working and eating, excellent overhead lighting, loads of electrical outlets, and a TV that gets every channel imaginable. Check-in and check-out were simple. The owners, whom we met at the end of our stay, live right upstairs. They were very nice, attentive to our needs, and accessible. We hope to be back!

A great place

My partner and I stayed here for a week and had a wonderful stay. The place is well furnished with an equipped kitchen and a market, coffee, restaurants and the light rail all in close proximity. The neighborhood is quaint, quiet and very safe. The only downside is that the sound proofing from the hosts above wasn’t great and so we’d often hear footsteps of folks walking around, though that didn’t bother us too much. Dominic and Nara were very responsive and helpful over text, and otherwise respectful of our privacy. I would recommend this place to others looking to stay in SF.

This apt was located within walking distance of Golden Gate Park and the Cole Valley neighborhoods. Also, well located for public transportation. Owner was very responsive via email and text to our inquiries. We had a great time.

Great location if you're going to the Golden Gate Park. You still might ride share down the hill.

Decorative sofa was impossible to sit in and we could not make it comfortable with pillows. Sleeper sofa was ok for sleeping, but also impossible for sitting in. We could sit sideways with 3 pillows for comfort. Otherwise, minimally furnished, but adequate. The noises from above were not an issue at all.

Near the city...but without city noise and traffic!

Great appartment! Kitchen had everything ... even some supplies. Andronico’s (good supermarket) is a short walk away with a great collection of fresh organic fruit and vegetables! Getting transport is really easy too with the number 6 bus stop just around the corner. Just buy your Munni day pass online....$5 gets you anywhere all day! If you want to sleep in the day though, bring some earplugs and an eye mask, as there is noise transference from the family living above and no blackout curtains! The bed was really comfortable! Access was easy...with a key safe by the front door.

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the proximity to so many places. The apartment has a spacious kitchen and only lacked somewhere to put clothes in the bedroom. We made space on the closet shelves which worked well. Our 6 year old slept on the sofa in the living room though an adult may prefer the actual pull out sofa bed there.

This was exactly what we expected and needed! This was so much better than staying in a hotel. We loved that we were in a neighborhood (quiet), but within walking distance to a billion restaurants and Golden Gate Park. There is a family that lives above you, but they were quiet and respectful of us the entire time. I highly recommend this place for your getaway!

Just what we expected

We were pleased to park our car and leave it for 3 days relying on public transit to enjoy SF. The house was very quiet from 8:00pm to 7:00 am weekdays and we slept well in the bedroom away from the street. We took full advantage of the spacious kitchen-dining-sitting area and enjoyed the large selection of TV channels.

Keep scrolling...this property is not for those who favor comfort and good quality sleep!

We have stayed in a fair amount of VRBOs, and this one ranks near the bottom. The area is nice, but the unit needs some work. To be fair, we did not voice our complaints to the owners, so they didn’t have the opportunity to address the problems during our stay. But some things are musts when you are renting out a place to stay; like good quality pillows, for starters. The pillows are about an 1” thick, no joke. The towels are also of the cheap variety, and the toilet paper was 1-ply. We did eventually find better quality rolls under the kitchen sink, but c’mon...don’t start us off with the transparent stuff! There were rusty holes in the wall where once a towel rack hung. That would have been a luxury to have! A plumbers’ services are desperately needed for both a slow-draining shower and sink, and a kitchen faucet that requires a lot of finesse to function. Saving our biggest complaint for last: the noise from above. We love kids, we do. But we weren’t expecting the early Sunday morning wake-up call of kids running all over the unit above us. If you have renters below, please take the kids out for donuts and let them run all over the park instead. We’re sorry, we just can’t recommend this property to others. Do yourself a favor and rent a hotel room instead!
