Perfect city stay
The apartment was so clean and the communication with the host was amazing. They saved us a parking spot and made the whole trip so easy. It is great to have easy city parking. The house is so quiet. Sleeping was easy. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved the backyard golfing. I would stay here again next time I have to be in the city.

Helpful host, good location in the city
The host is incredibly helpful. He would ensure we had a parking spot every night, and having a parking spot while staying within the city was useful. The location within the city was good, as was having access to a washer and dryer. So, it had the things we needed with a helpful host.

Perfect launching pad to explore the city & surrounding areas
Joe is a very considerate and communicative host. He was very conscientious of our needs, especially the parking situation. He had a spot reserved for us in the street, and we switched cars around between the driveway and street parking to suit our schedule. Communication on this went both ways, as he appreciated knowing when we were out so that he could move his car to the street to save the spot in front of the house for us for our return. The rental was spacious for our needs and felt very secure. As the lower section of a double, however, any noise from above was easily heard in our space. Would still recommend to any traveler to SF who may be up for exploring the city and surrounding areas.

Convenient Location
The location was super convenient. The parking situation was really rough, as to be expected in San Francisco. One troubling issue was that the place wasn't super clean. Our bed sheets were not clean, there was clearly hair from other visitors. We ended up sleeping on top of the bedding. The bathroom wasn't very clean at all. The owners live in the unit above. While they are very nice, staying underneath them was very loud. Late into the night, you could hear them walking around their unit, like they were wearing heels or something like that. The way we had to park, we were required to park in their driveway, but were asked to leave the keys on the washer/dryer so they could move if needed. They moved the car a couple of times, moved all of the mirrors and adjusted and moved the seat without bothering to put it back. We also had an issue with ants in one of the bedrooms. We sent a video to them, but it went unresolved because it took them 10 hours to respond. When they finally did respond we were already in for the night.

1. All the sheets are washed and dryed after each guest's stay, no exception. 2. Guest stay during the Chinese New Yaer, there are some vistors and some noise, very rare situation, we are sorry for that. 3. When we moved guest's car, we moved the seat only, didn't move the other parts. Actually, we just do guest's favor to help them move their car early in the morning, no other guests ever complaint about not moving the seat back, anyway, we will pay attention to that. 4. As to the ants issue, because the internet was down that day, I read the message very late, no video is attached to the message, I checked the area the next moring after guest checked out, didn't find any ants at all.

The guest didn't make any complaints during their saty, and she even called me after checked out saying that they had a good stay. Anyway, we'll do our best in the future.

Affordable Place For Large Families
We were thrilled to find this VRBO for our family trip to San Francisco. We stayed here with our five kids. Everyone slept comfortably . Joe reserved a parking spot for us and we even did a load of laundry. The host was very accommodating. Great stay.

Great Stay!
The property was exactly as described. It was clean, and comfortably housed my husband and I, my sister and her husband and our father. We were only there one night so it was perfect for that. We really enjoyed using the mini putting green in the backyard. Even though we were staying on the bottom floor of someone's house, it felt like its own separate place. Would stay here again if in the area.

Our stay
We enjoyed our stay it was in a great location. We were within walking distance from the bus stop Free parking was a huge plus.Beds were very comfortable and plenty of blankets and pillows. The only con I would say is when preparing any meals the kitchen supplies were sparse and / or old. My only other complaint would the futon it was very hard and felt like there were boards coming through. There was a nice big foam mattress that the host suppled but we didn’t use it since we just used it for seating. The hosts was very accommodating and went over and beyond to answer any questions for us or save our parking when we were out sightseeing. That made it nice that there was a parking in the front after a long day in San Francisco.

The location was perfect, the facility was spacious and Joe was on the ball in responding to any questions / issues that we had. The overall cleanliness is below the other VrBO facilities that we stayed in. The control for heat was in the owner's unit. This caused us to need supplemental heat, i.e. a borrowed space heater

Great place for folks on a budget.
Our main surprise was that the living/kitchen/dining area was very small with no windows. We had five adults and it was definitely cramped. A warmer paint tone and nicer furnishings could have helped. Furnishings were spare but functional. But those issues were minor details in comparison to Joe's very warm, friendly presence, always there to help us with parking, answer questions and help us feel at home. The location felt safe and friendly. Given the price, it's a super spot for a couple or three folks on a budget.

Just What We Needed at a Great Price with a Responsive Owner
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. From the start, Joe was very responsive to all our questions and provided some great tips to us. It was small but comfortable VRBO for myself and my two older sisters. The beds were very comfortable. Small bathroom but my 4 sisters and I shared a bathroom growing up, so it was just like old times. Adequate and clean! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the small fridge, freezer and microwave were handy and sufficient for our vacation -- as we at out most of the time with the exception of breakfast. The location allowed us to catch Ubers and be most anywhere (including the airport) in 15 minutes. We could walk 5 blocks to Whole Foods and although we didn't explore that area much, there seemed to be some fast food and possible coffee shops near whole foods. Joe could tell you more about them, I'm sure. We felt safe in this neighborhood and walked to whole foods after dark without any issues.. Because we needed a car to meet up with Family South of San Fran on the weekend, we needed to be able to park the rental car somewhere. Joe arranged for a spot for us on the street and when that wasn't available he allowed us to park the car in his driveway. Thanks a million for that Joe! Although we did drive a few places in San Fran, we mostly took Uber so having a safe place to park the rental car was essential! We would stay here again. The kitchen had a great coffee machine and quick electric water heater/pitcher which we used. The gas stove was nice. Small suggestions would be to have a few "spices" available for cooking (Salt was empty). Overall, we were very happy! Thanks Joe for making our stay so wonderful and for being responsive when we had questions, before and after our stay!

Great Stay!!!
This place was the perfect size and very clean. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The fridge is small but if you need more room the host kindly shares the garage fridge with you and there is also a washer and dryer in the garage if you need it. 5 out of 5 stars for sure!!!!!

Great location and authentic SF experience
Nice and easy place to stay for a few nights with a small family if visiting the city. All the tourist sites were a short drive away (traffic depending) without having to use the bridges to enter the city. Public transit is nearby, as well as a nice Whole Foods. We appreciated the authenticity of staying in a SF neighborhood, and enjoyed being able to cook and eat in after long days touring the city. The beds were cozy, the kitchen was well equipped, the host was friendly and kind, and check in and check out was very easy and convenient. *Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the home is in need of a deep clean and better sound insulation to reduce some of the noise of the family living upstairs.

Okay for a budget stay
The unit is downstairs and the owners are upstairs. It is pretty noisy as there is little sound barrier between the units. The Putt Putt was a bit of a mess. We did not go out there. Wifi works well and access to public transportation is pretty easy. The beds are also very comfortable. Overall I think the unit needs a deep clean and possibly some updates. Laundry access is easy (in garage) and was very convenient.

Sorry about the noise, it happened that my son have a friend visited him and the young men were kind of noisy sometimes, this was a very unusual situation, we will make sure such thing will not happen again.

Budget friendly getaway
I read raving reviews, but was disappointed in the rental. Empty ice trays (no ice available when checking in;) coffee pot leaked and wasn’t working; No heater or thermostat, but owner turned heat on from upstairs when requested. No working TV and was not disclosed before I spent 15 minutes trying to operate it. We were told to leave car keys so family car could be removed from garage at 7:50 am. Free parking in driveway was nice to have. Owner came 20 minutes early for us to move car. We were 4 older ladies and I thought I saw 4 beds in photos. Only 3 beds in 2 bedrooms. Owner was available to solve issues, but problems took time away from enjoying our stay.

1. There are two ice trays in the frizer which are full of ice, don't know why the guest claimed no ice. A bucket ice was given to the guest when requested. 2. We didn't know the coffee machine was leaking untile the guest informed us, a new coffee machine was given to them immediately. 3. We make it very clear that the thermostate is located upstairs in the instruction, and guest can request to turn on the heating at any time. 4. We have an appoinhtment with the cable compnay to fix the TV, but the technician didn't show up, forgot to inform the guest about that, our mistake. 5. We asked the guest to leave car key out so that we can move the car for her, but she refused, we may need to get out the garage at any time. 6. In the description and instruction we state clearly there are two bedrooms with three beds, the quest can request to set up additional beds, but the guest never make any request. It look like the guest didn't read our description and instruction carefully, we always try our best to offer the best service to our guests.

We were visiting my brother in law who lives in Mission Terrace over the holidays. This was a wonderfully convenient property a mile from his home. We loved the comfortable beds and the quiet—especially for an in-town property. Joe was very communicative and kind and greeted us in person upon arrival. Bonus: there is a fun mini golf course in the backyard that kept my kids occupied while we wrapped Christmas presents!

Good Stay, host replies quickly
The property was nice and looked like the pictures. Checking in was very easy and having a lockbox made it much easier to not have to carry the keys around with me. Joe was friendly and responded within 12-24 hours to all my messages and was very helpful! The location was close to restaurants and coffee shops as well. My only minor criticism is the mini fridge was too small for a property that allows up to 7 people to stay. We brought some perishable foods for six people and unfortunately it did not all fit into the fridge so we had to buy a cooler. Other than that, the kitchen was fully stocked and clean. Overall, it was a nice stay in the city!

The place was very nice and everything we needed. There was a little mixup on the front end regarding our arrival time, but the owner was quick to fix it and make everything right. Parking is tight but that is not unusual for the area as a whole. Highly recommend.

Great Place to Stay
My family of 5 stayed here for three nights, and it was a great place to stay. The owner let us know in advance everything that we needed to know. The place was stocked with everything we needed (towels, kitchen utensils, toilet paper, etc). The location was good. It was a quiet neighborhood, and only two blocks away from whole foods to stock up on supplies. We didn't use the mass transit, but it is very close if that is how you want to get around town. If you are thinking of staying here, I would recommend it.
