'Ottantotto is a wonderful boutique hotel very close to Piazza Santo Spirito and easy walking distance to Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace. Very nicely decorated clean rooms and garden area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Instructions for access to the property are great. Would strongly recommend to stay in OLTRARNO (other side of the Arno) as this part of Florence is really nice and less touristic....AND close to all interesting sights!'

'Nice room, good location, friendly service, but the bathroom and mainly the shower was very bad. Virtually no hot water out of the shower and small wonky space.'

'No problems getting into the property - good communication from the property in advance and responsive to enquiries. Room was well equipped- kettle and fridge, hairdryer, small safe in the roomy wardrobe and room for my case to stand around. TV (no English stations). WiFi . We're all a bit used to fancier bathrooms in even cheap hotel chains and the shower stall in the room could do with a refresh but it was all clean and the shower was good and hot and worked well. 'Uitstekende accommodatie dat dicht bij het centrum ligt van Florence. Prima, schone appartement. De eigenaresse is heel aardig en vooral klantvriendelijk. De appartementen zijn zeer veilig. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Een aanrader om hier een appartement te huren.'

'goed hotel met mooie kamers gelegen op een heuvel in prachtige omgeving. heeft helaas geen restaurant, dus je moet er altijd met de auto op uit voor de maaltijden. hotel is wat afgelegen, maar geen bezwaar als je met de auto bent.'

'Voor rust, heerlijke wijnen en geweldige gastvrijheid en service is dit een aanrader van formaat. Heerlijke gerechten gecombineerde met een Dievole Chianti Classico is om van te dromen. Wij komen zeker terug.'

Frukosten var trevlig vid ett stort gemensamt bord och god mat, mannen på hotellet ordnade en riktigt bra kaffe! Poolområdet var rent och fräsch och det märktes att de tar väl hand om stället. 'Personeelsloze checkin is prima geregeld. Hotel is een 800 jaar oud herenhuis. Prima gerenoveerd, alleen de buren zijn goed hoorbaar en het sanitair veroorzaakt erg luide geluiden. Geen ontbijt beschikbaar, ook niet in de nabije omgeving. Ze offeren wel een "alternatief" ontbijt aan maar dat is zeker niet wat je in een gastronomisch land als italie mag verwachten.'

'Excellent location in the centre of Chianni, which was perfect for exploring the local area and eating out. The staff were all very friendly and the continental breakfast was nice. There was a small refrigerator in the room and if there was just one extra small thing that would have been nice, it would have been some coffee making facilities in the room itself. Overall a lovely stay with the brilliant restaurant to dine at.'

"We had a very pleasant stay! The accommodation is beautiful and lies in beautiful surroundings. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The organised dinners at the hotel were very very good. Sometimes better than nearby restaurants. It was delicious!! Of course, the wines are great too, with the rosé wines as my favourite. My only points of feedback would be that it would be nice that the bar next to the pool is open more hours (as of our stay, it was only open for 1hour between 7 and 8 PM). Some time you just want a nice drink or snack earlier times. Another point I noticed was that the floor in the bedroom was quite dusty upon arrival. I have to say, these 2 points of feedback would not take away my full recommendation for this place. We loved every second of our stay. "
