Upon my arrival, I encountered long delay, a mix-up with my reservation, and wrong room assignment. This situation caused us to miss a reservation, it was an inconvenience, and did not meet the standard of service I expected from this establishment.
Booking was made through Expedia. The front desk clerk related there has been issues when booking through Expedia and Expedia was to blame for not having "pushed through" the booking. I contacted Expedia and they related the issue was not on their end and the Hotel was to blame. Unknown as to where the issue originated as both blamed each other.
After about an hour of waiting in the lobby, the issue was finally “resolved”. Despite providing my reservation details, I was given a different room than what I had booked, which caused further inconvenience. I payed extra to have a balcony view and was provided a room without a balcony.
I have two other reservations in the near future and having experienced this issue with Expedia, I am not confident I will have a good experience.
