'We stayed out our first ever Bed and Breakfast and it was amazing! We highly recommend visiting the San Juan Islands, Friday Harbor, and staying at the Trumpeter Inn Bed & Breakfast. Pros: Close to town (5min), centrally located to head to any part of the island! County Setting (5 acres) with livestock you can feed! 'The hotel and surrounding area is beautiful. The waterfront location and lodge-like setting makes for a cozy, relaxing stay. The corner king suite was very large and comfortable featuring a fireplace as well. The only downside to our stay was our room facing the train track which is active during the night. The mattress was a bit bouncy as well (for someone who prefers memory foam). However, the window bench was a nice option for sleeping. Overall, a great stay! '
