'What a lovely, unexpected surprise the Rio Ason was. First and foremost, the staff are amazing. From arrival Anna and rest of the team were so helpful, and genuinely friendly and happy to chat. The hotel itself is great - clean, quiet and modern, good sized room, secure off street parking, and a fantastic breakfast buffet. Ramales itself is a great little local town too, lots of lovely walks in the surrounding hills (and caves!), and a huge selection of local bars for refreshment...

'Parking with my car trailer was easy. Sunday night before catching the ferry. There’s a nice cafe a short walk down the hill to the left. Breakfast is buffet style toast, cereals, fruit juices. 10 Euro pp. The rooms are super clean & comfortable. WiFi is a little slow, but is small criticism in my view. 'Iván, el dueño, no puede ser más profesional y cercano. Nos ayudó en todo, nos dio todas las indicaciones del mindo e hizo de nuestra estancia un plus!! El sitio es precioso y está cerca de "todo" para una primera toma de contacto con Cantabria, que era nuestro caso. Nuestra habitación tenía una cocinita bien equipada con todo ( cafetera, tostadora..) y era bastante amplia para dos adultos y dos niños. Un sitio muy limpio y agradable. Se la recomendaría a cualquiera que me preguntase y...
