Yes, during the slower months, the island does experience a slightl lull in occupancy which can have a slightly empty feeling from time to time but, on the positive side, you have much more privacy, space and places to have fun all while never feeling too crowded. Hello, thank you for staying with us! We work hard at maintaining our hotel grounds and while we do know it might not be the latest design, it is well taken care of by our hard-working staff. As you should also know, the problem of the sargassum on the beach has been well documented and is something that affects our entire island. As to the claim of our pools being filled with employees - you simply confused our paying local customers with employees. Locals are allowed to use one of the pools when consuming from the restaurant. Our guests are also aware that the hotel has two pools - one of them is available exclusively to hotel guests. There is also a vending machine beside the office. We do appreciate your feedback but sometimes you just need to approach us when you feel something is not right. We hope to see you next time!

We have conveniently located a short 10-minute golf cart ride from town and we have several taxis stationed outside throughout the day that provides affordable transportation for our guests to head into town. Hello, Thank you for your review. We're sorry that our operating hours were not to your liking however, we must point out that this is stated online for our guests to see. We have on-site security and an after-hours manager on site as well should our guests require additional assistance. Breakfast begins at 7AM every day. We're sorry you had to depart earlier and were not able to enjoy our breakfast options, however, we again must point out that this is all stated online for our guests to see, prior to booking their stay. The sargassum seaweed is an issue affecting the entire Caribbean and beyond. We are working as hard as possible to ensure this is not an issue for our guests however, as you point out, this is outside of our control as it is an act of nature. We have conveniently located a short 10-minute golf cart ride from town. Many of our guests comment on how the resort is perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle, but still, close enough you can be in the town centre in less than 15 minutes. We have several stores, restaurants and tour companies nearby and within walking distance even. Despite your concerns regarding our location and hours of operation, we are very much grateful to have been able to host you. Belize is a lovely country and all guests who stay with us are valued for choosing to experience our country with us. We are a short (5 Minute) golf cart ride from the centre of town but still a ways away from the hustle and bustle which our guests do enjoy being able to be close to town but not near the action. Yes, Ambergris Caye is a very relaxed, friendly and casual island and many of our guests like to laid back atmosphere they feel as soon as they arrive.
