'It was a beautiful home. However, it is supposed to be on the lake, and there was no water within 1/2 a mile due to the extremely low lake levels (not their fault). However, it advertised a hot tub, but the hot tub was drained and not usable, and that was one of the reasons we chose this place. I was disappointed with that. 'I'm conflicted on this review - the property was clean and with lots of sundries and supplies, beds were great, firepiit nice, no complaints, overall very good. However, with the lake withdrawn for years around a half mile from the house, this was not even close to waterfront pic they proudly show on the site. Yes, there was a clear disclaimer in the text, so no bait and switch, but leaving the photo up today with the lake down for years, then placing the disclaimer in to avoid liability, well...

Worst hotel and manager ever!!!!
"Worst experience ever, this is not worthy of the name Best Western. I had booked 2 rooms for our group, but several insects were crawling in both rooms and a few were dead. Also the smell in the rooms was terrible. We had to cancel the rooms and still drove to a decent overnight stay in Austin. I then emailed the manager several times, but he was not cooperative at all. She kept pretending she didn't understand me via email and kept referring to Expedia. Conclusion: the hotel suits the manager. Both the worst experience ever!!!!"
