'Really friendly staff and good location, but the hotel is quite outdated and the beds were not very comfortable. '

'Great location, close to seafront. Welcoming hosts, lovely couple who couldn’t do enough for their guests. Superb breakfast- vast range and all cooked to order - served fresh and hot. 5* stay - will definitely return'

'Room was basic, comfortable and clean, beds were good, had nice sea view. Would stay there again.'

'Had a lovely stay at the hotel. It was still off season and a bit quiet but the manager was very welcoming and made me feel an honoured guest. Everything is at walking distance so very convenient!'

'I was worried by the negative reviews of this hotel before arriving but circumstances dictated that we would stay here. In fact, the place was actually better than expected - not great but acceptable provided you only need the basics. Yes, the property is tired and in need of a face-lift; the carpets are well-worn, the beds are old, the bar/entertainment area hasn't been used in a long time and the bathroom was very basic. Your room isn't serviced during your stay other than to empty the bin...

'The property is quite outdated but the staff were helpful and it was adequate for our one night stay.'
