'We arrived just after the kitchen closed after having travelled a long way . Given it was my birthday I was hoping for a special meal . When I told the receptionist it was my birthday the chef said I will sort it for you . He prepared us a delicious meal of fish soup and king prawns and pasta with homemade butter . It was truly delicious and I would say Michelin star level . What a kind man . The breakfast was equally delicious with homemade muesli and homemade biscuits with the normal extras...

'Very decent hotel, friendly and competent staff, great breakfast buffet. The surroundings aren't that great, Molde isn't the most inspiring town. But as a stopover before or after taking the ferry either to the mainland or towards Kristiansund this place is golden. We'd gladly return here!'

'Everything is perfect, the view from the room is beautiful and the restaurant is excellent. Even when dining on your own you are made to feel welcome and important. One minor point: breakfast starts quite late so if you have an early morning flight, you may miss it or have to rush.'
