'We arrived in Hallstatt around 3pm and found a parking spot in P1. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the VRBO. There is a shuttle available, but I cannot comment on that. The key was in a lock box beside the VRBO, on the Seeside Café wall. You have to climb stairs to get to your room. Upon walking in, the lake view immediately draws you in! It is breathtaking! 'Das Haus liegt direkt am Wasser und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen.Die Begrüßung und Betreuung durch die Gastgeberin waren sehr gut. Trotzdem die Inneneinrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist,ist alles sehr gepflegt und gemütlich. Der Blick von Terrasse und Wohnzimmer auf See und Berge ist herrlich. Wir hatten unseren Hund dabei und dies war im komplett eingezäunten Grundstück unproblematisch. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.Gerne wieder!'

'The pictures do not do this wonderful property justice. Its is a stunning 16th Century property updated with all the modern amenities. 10 of us stayed here with 4 kids and it was more than big enough. The water from the private spring is delicious, the rowing boat and diving board straight into the lake make the days fly by. We had great weather as well. Kids loved the small basketball court and the many toys and games available for them. The veiws from the veranda over the lake are amazing...
