They use a chemical to make the hallways smell clean and it’s absolutely horrible. You can’t breathe and it made us gag each time. I would say the place needs upkeep or a refresh. The front desk staff doesn’t present itself as put together. A front desk clerk should be in a uniform with clean cloths. David wore the same stained grey jacket and a dirty white shift two days in a town. Loved the location and the serenity being by the beach.

I think it's completely overpriced and outdated. The area around the self-parking lot looks very dry, with dead plants. The staff was very nice and it was clean, but that doesn't justify the huge amount they charge.

It’s a beautiful property, very clean. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Beautiful site for a wedding. Close to many restaurants.

Phone didn’t work in the room, no one available for room service, couldn’t call for more blankets. The QR code didn’t work, long after the kitchen was open the QR code app said they were not open. Couldn’t order coffee service for the morning. So overpriced for what it was. Understaffed.

The property was nice , most staff were polite . I was dissatisfied that there is no room service , I ordered and canceled but they called and said food was ready for pickup . Room service should be available with time restrictions . That was the only disappointment. The facilities is nice and room was great .

A three start hotel masquerading as four/five star. Great location, but a badly maintained property, managed by unfriendly staff. The outside paint was old, and the inside hallway stank of mold and cigarette smoke from bygone era. The hotel was half empty, but they refused to change the room. The room assigned to us faced the railroad tracks, which meant frequently whistling Amtrak trains. Unfortunately, it was very windy outside, so naturally the unkept tree branches kept scratching on the window pane....a great way to be woken up in the middle of the night.

Great piece of real estate. The property needs an overhaul. They already know this but it needs to be gutted and remodeled.

Exceptional property. Only downside was $40 parking fee (self park) per night as well as $35 resort fee per night - ouch! It was a really nice, well staffed, maintained and comfortable resort and I’d stay again if in SB (i just don’t plan to park there!!)

Went here during a storm, beautiful regardless, oceanfront and majestic. So want to come back during the Summer. Staff were excellent, even reopened the restaurant so my daughter and I could get a late breakfast. Definitely coming back.

We really enjoyed our ocean view. Even thought it rained, the view of the ocean from our room made it feel so calm and peaceful. I really suggested that you do take the splurge and get a room with an ocean and balcony view.

Property wasn’t as we expected as we’ve stayed there several times before, but this time around many amenities were out of order such as the car charger and jacuzzi. In addition, housekeeping did not come by our hotel room to clean during our two night stay. Hotel seemed understaffed during our stay for several areas.

I would stay again
The Service in Restaurant and housekeeping was honestly amazing. Checking in was a bit weird, the girl was new and just kept repeating herself. She didn't tell me anything I needed to know then got a mgr. Whom I had to wait for her to get done with another customer. All this after I already waiting in line. Then the mgr was great and helped me but never explained the name of the bldg i was in, said she gave me an upgrade. I think that was not accurate. Somehow it got mixed up because I thought I booked an ocean front room and they told me i didn't which alright but they spoke so loud nad kept saying well you booked from a 3rd party. Like they wanted everyone to hear. It was getting me very annoyed. Then I said just give me the room that's fine and the numbers on the outside of the bldg did not coinside with the closest door to my upstairs room. If it wasnt for a man in housekeeping who helped me with my bags I wouldn't have found it for a long time, i was in the whole other bldg. where it said the room number. And theres a door that hardly swings open and there needs to be a sign on it when you walk in because it slams back on you and it could really hurt someone. After that , I honestly had a great stay. I love the location, I love that you're dog friendly and the food and service was fantastic. Even when I called down to get more coffee and cream they came pretty quickly. I wouild stay again. Just please explain things upon checkin. Tell people the bldg Name!

Pricey but a great location.
Excellent location. HUGE property. Almost too big. I was a 5-minute walk from the lobby. It's a little pricey once you get through the resort fee and paid parking.
