This adorable home is steps from the beach. Even though there was lots of rain during our visit it was lovely to cozy up by the fire. Full kitchen allowed us to cook meals at “home”, but there are several great cafe’s restaurants within 0.5 miles. The bed fit my 6’4” spouse comfortably.

Great Little Cottage
We loved this cottage! It is literally steps away from the beach and a short walk to the boardwalk. Everything was so clean and comfortable for us. It was great to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. I 💯 recommend!

Family Time
Our stay at Laurie's darling cottage was wonderful! Beautiful landscaping and the striking double red front doors greet you. When you enter the home the charm continues with the decor and cozy cottage feel. We found the kitchen had everything we needed; even very nice plates and glass wear, which we appreciated. It was great being so close to Seabright Beach and Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History. At night it was a little noisy at times with people going down to the beach, but it was not too bad. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to another visit to this charming cottage! Thank you Laurie!

25th anniversary California road trip
Beautiful cozy home! Laurie was very helpful and was so kind to get us charcoal and lighter fluid for our dinner. Location was super convenient, within walking distance to amusement park and pier. We enjoyed falling asleep listening to the surf and sea lions. Outdoor spaces was as beautiful as the interior.

We loved the house, it was convenient, very cute and well kept. We were comfortable. The fireplace remote was a little tricky but the fireplace did offer the warmth we needed in the morning. The owner was super nice, we had a great time.

Nice little cottage, 1 house away from Seabright Beach. Could hear the ocean every night. A bit noisy at night from people partying on the beach, but to be expected I think being so close to beach. 5 minute walk to Boardwalk. Cool neighborhood and walking distance to breakfast spots and taproom. Description didn't list washer/dryer(that I saw), but it does have them.

Once again, we had a fantastic stay at this property, on Alhambra Avenue, in Santa Cruz. This "cottage" is immaculately maintained, with vintage furnishings & fixtures, a beautiful garden, and plenty of room. It is a short walk to the beach or boardwalk. The owners can easily be contacted, if necessary, and are very responsive to any requests or needs. Just a perfect "beach getaway!"

This beautiful historical home is absolutely stunning. It is walking distance to the beach. It is in a great, quiet area. Laurie was such an amazing host. I will definitely be coming back to this location. Location is convenient near everything and it's absolutely breathtaking taking here.

Marvellous beach house, 100y old but in very good condition
Cosy little wooden house just around the corner of the beach, 100y old with original interior but very well maintained, quiet surrounding but shops and restaurants nearby, very nice hosts living just next door, strongly recommended for all who are looking for a relaxed holiday home to get a real impression of Santa Cruz.

Great spot
This little cottage is located incredibly close to one of the best, quiet beaches in Santa Cruz, just a short walk to the boardwalk and wharf. On the small side but perfect for a family with young kids. The host was responsive and resolved questions right away. The property was very, very clean, which we appreciated a lot. Overall we were thrilled and will definitely be back.

One of my favorite VRBO's ever
We stayed here for a few days to relax at the tail end of our Bay Area/Yosemite roadtrip. This is one of our favorite, if not the favorite, rental homes we've stayed in. It was just what we needed. The house was spotless and had everything we could think of. We flew to the area, so being able to use beach towels and beach chairs was a huge bonus for us. The location was perfect for us to walk so many place, especially the beach. I loved being able to hear the waves and the sea lions at night from the bedroom. The homeowner lives next door so would be able to assist if we needed her. Highly recommend this home! We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Sea Bright Bungalow has a great location, it has a lot of charmes and it was very clean. We were very happy to have found this place for my son's graduation weekend. The host is professional and very reachable. We would definitely recommend it.

Perfection
The perfect Seabright bungalow for showing my family the magic of Santa Cruz. Walking to play at Seabright beach, walking to the Boardwalk, and coming home to a clean, silent, cozy cottage is the making of a perfect day. The house had everything we needed and was beautiful inside and out. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

Charming Cottage in Seabright
My family found this historic cottage to be charming, nicely decorated and it has a lovely small yard with stunning rose gardens and grass. Our first two days the weather was cool and rainy and the cottage was difficult to warm adequately using the natural gas fireplace. As the weather warmed more during the week we were staying, we were quite comfortable with the fireplace for heating. The cottage is a short walk to Seabright Beach Park and also a short walk to several casual restaurants that we tried. We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage in Seabright very much.

Santa Cruz fun
My husband and I traveled with our 4 year old granddaughter. This house was very clean, had a perfect location with an easy walk to the boardwalk and the beach. Kitchen good size and had absolutely everything that is needed. When we return to Santa Cruz we will definitely book here again. Landscaping was very pretty as well and we enjoyed sitting outside relaxing after a fun day.

Fabulous Beach Getaway
We have long admired this house, located just a stone's throw from the beach in Santa Cruz. But it far exceeded our expectations. The house is cozy, with 2 bedrooms upstairs, plenty of living room, kitchen, bath & laundry room downstairs, all surrounded by luscious flower gardens. Everything is neat & tidy, and the owners have anticipated just about every need possible. We have already made our reservation for next year, and anticipate staying her for many summers to come.

Fantastic Stay!
What a wonderful stay in Santa Cruz at this property! Laurie was attentive and helpful. Check-in/out was simple and straight forward. The house itself is adorable, immaculate and the location was fantastic- so close to the beach, boardwalk, and marina. My whole family (husband and 2 teenage daughters loved the morning/evening walks around the neighborhood, enjoying the lively marine animals and quaint beach cottages in the area. Thank you, Laurie, for such a nice time in Santa Cruz.

Cute Seabright home
Very cute home in Seabright neighborhood. It is very close to boardwalk and separate beach. It is walking distance to great restaurants. Very clean! Kitchen well stocked as well. Would stay here again. Two small negatives-beds are uncomfortable. (I did find couch quite comfortable) Cleaning staff left an old dirty sponge under sink for our use. This Likely was an oversight but not good during a pandemic.

Awesome cottage near the beach!
We had a wonderful stay at this darling cottage at Seabright beach. It was sparkling clean, comfortably furnished and well-stocked with everything we needed. The landscaped gardens were incredibly beautiful. We were traveling with our two 16-year old nephews and the set-up was perfect. We especially appreciated the extra half-bath off the master bedroom. The boys could easily walk to Boardwalk while we enjoyed fabulous seafood nearby at Johnny’s Harborside Cafe. This will be our preferred place for future visits to Santa Cruz.

Good Location
House was clean and retro, walking distance to the beach and pier. The only thing we had difficulty with was the key lock and also there was loud construction across the street at very early hours, so there was no parking. Great place to stay though.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the beach house. It fit our needs perfectly. The house is located on a cliff overlooking the beach. It's a short walk down to the beach entrance. I recommend bringing a wagon if you have a family or a lot of beach gear. The owner was very responsive to questions.

This is a charming, cozy cottage. Loved having a patio as the weather was accommodating. We did not cook, but the kitchen was adequately stocked. The location was perfect….we took advantage of being able to easily walk to the beach, Boardwalk, restaurants, and harbor. Would love to come back again!

wonderful getaway
We had a wonderful relaxing weekend in this charming cottage- Laurie was very accommodating when some challenges arose on our end. The property was very clean, everything worked well, and the kitchen was well stocked with plates, pots, glasses etc. Being able to walk one block to the beach was wonderful.
