'The house was run down, in need of repairs and deep cleaning! The listing photos were not accurate. I have photos but it wouldn’t load. They show dirt around door knobs and air vents. Lack of silverware for group size listed. Yellow stains around toilet base. Dirty drawers in kitchen and worn cabinets, holes in couch apholstery. '

The inside and outside spaces were large and accommodating. Loved the fire pit area. The ramp leading up to the house really helped our guests with limited mobility. 'Although we were initially put off by the 1500 security deposit, we were glad we made the reservation. The home was centrally located to Galveston attractions from the Strand to the Seawall to cruise terminals. It was playfully decorated which we especially enjoyed. Although we did not cook, the kitchen appeared to be well equipped with a nice stock of coffee pods. The bathroom was spacious with both a walk-in shower and a comfy soaking tub.
