  • My Blue Sky ligt in de begeerde "Old Blue Mountain Beach" -wijk, ten zuiden van de 30A Gulf View, op een steenworp van het strand en vol met prachtige kustdecoraties.

    Dit idyllische strandhuis met stijl in de stijl van 'Old Florida' ligt ten zuiden van Scenic 30A in een zeer rustige straat in een wijk aan de Gulfside met privétoegang tot het strand in het prachtige Blue Mountain-strand. Schilderachtige toegang tot het strand is een zeer korte, één minuut gemakkelijke wandeling door de straat naar het ongerepte zand en water! Slechts 4 huizen naar het strand!

    De overdekte autorijbaan met 4 auto's zorgt ervoor dat uw auto's in de schaduw blijven op warme zomerdagen. Het huis beschikt over een handige overdekte binnendouche om het zand weg te spoelen.

    Het huis is ideaal voor familie en vrienden om te verzamelen in de woonkamer, keuken en veranda op de tweede verdieping. De keuken is bijgewerkt met granieten aanrecht en beschikt over een ingebouwde ijsmachine. Het is volledig gevuld met kleine apparaten, kookgerei en keukengerei om te koken en gastronomische maaltijden te serveren.

    Alle vier de slaapkamers bevinden zich op de derde verdieping en zijn voorzien van alle nieuwe, designer beddengoed. De twee slaapkamers aan de oceaanzijde hebben een eigen badkamer en delen een terras met uitzicht op de golf. Slaapkamers drie en vier delen een Jack en Jill bad. Veel custom strandkunstwerk door het hele huis maakt dit het perfecte strandretraite om herinneringen te bewaren met vrienden en familie!

    De buurt van eengezinswoningen is een van de rustigste van 30A, maar is gemakkelijk te voet te bereiken naar ongelooflijke voorzieningen zoals de beroemde Blue Mountain Creamery, restaurants, biologische supermarkt en smoothiebar, de plaatselijke bakker, fietswinkel en alle winkels , restaurants, nagelsalon en kapsalon in Redfish Village liggen aan de noordkant van onze straat.

    Blue Mountain Beach is centraal gelegen aan de prachtige 17 mijl lange Scenic 30A met wereldberoemde meren aan de kust. Blue Mountain staat op 48 meter boven de zeespiegel en staat bekend als het hoogste punt aan de Gulf Coast. Deze bijzondere gemeenschap heeft een oude ambiance in Florida en ligt tussen Grayton Beach en Gulf Place. U kunt binnen enkele minuten wandelen of fietsen naar verschillende, lokaal in bezit zijnde restaurants.     Blue Mountain Beach ligt op 1,5 km van Grayton Beach en Grayton Beach State Park en op 6,5 km van Seaside. Een 17-mijls fietspad strekt zich uit langs alle kustgemeenschappen langs 30A. Scenic 30A staat ook bekend als de stranden van South Walton en de beste stranden ter wereld.

We had a wonderful vacation and would look to rent this property again. A short walk to the beach and the convenience of location for restaurants added to our experience. We especially enjoyed the decor, ice maker and screen porch. The house has been well loved but we appreciated the updates along with comfortable bedding. Very easy to deal with. Place was advertised. I would say our only complaints were the floors were not very clean when we arrived, and the refrigerator did not work very well. It needs to probably be replaced.

Great Location

Our family had an overall great experience and would rent again. The property management was responsive to any support I needed and I received timely clear instructions for our rental procedures. The location is ideal. A quick walk to the beach entrance made it easy for our family to come and go. The property has been well loved but some updates were appreciated and overall we enjoyed the environment especially the screen porch. Several good restaurants are a short bike ride away along with an ice cream shop.

Amazing Home and Location

A gorgeous home with a 5-star location, My Blue Sky is hands-down the best property I've rented in all my years vacationing along 30A.Nestled in the Old Blue Mountain Beach neighborhood, this beautiful beach house is seriously close to the beach, plus within walking distance to Blue Mountain Creamery, Red Fish Taco, and Blue Mountain Bakery. The beach access is down a quiet road a half-block away and has fewer steps down than many others.The home's brightly painted interior and large windows give a sense of spaciousness that makes each room fee large and open. The screened in porch is massive and keeps cool, and the jack-and-jill bedrooms are great for a couple with young kids.There is a ground-level shower just inside the front door, plus a hose outside for rinsing off sandy feet. With this house, the list goes on and on.This is the first vacation rental I've stayed in that I could see myself renting again.I made several requests before and during my stay, and the property management company, Scenic Stays, was quick to respond and eager to help.

This place was very adequate for our group of 8. Perfect location! Very short walk to the beach! Also it’s a walkable distance to ice cream, bakery, and other shops. Neighborhood was very quiet and safe. There is construction on nearby houses currently (June 2023) but none of it was bothersome to us. The only issues we had was there was no cold water available in the kitchen due to a waterline issue. And one of the two sliding doors to the beach was a beast to open. Would be happy to rent in the future!

Amazing!!!

I miss it already!!. What an amazing vacation!.. Having this beautiful home to stay in instead of a hotel was so much more enjoyable and personal. I was able to have one of the best birthdays ive ever had. This house is so close to everything,we barely had to drive anywhere. Your very close to the beach and restaurants and shops and blue mountain is seriously the cutest little place. The house is perfect for a family stay. It was extremely comfortable. The back porch was perfect for coffee in the morning. The beds were so comfy.. after being at the beach all day they were perfect. Maintenance was quick on reponding when we called about one of the upstairs bathrooms. I will definitely be booking this home again in the future. Its really the perfect home for a little getaway.

Great location

The location of this house was the best! We definitely knew what to do if there was a problem as we got plenty of communication. Check in and out was super easy. While the home is older, it was cheerfully appointed and felt beachy. We used the fire pit but I wish there would have been some fire tools on site to maintain the fire a bit more easily. And I wish there was a broom and dustpan in the house as the vacuum didn't cut it for my need to not step in sand throughout the house even though we always took shoes off at the door. We walked with 5 kids easily to Blue Mountain Creamery, Red Fish Taco, Blue Mabel and Blue Mountain Bakery. It was a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay!

Good Morning, This house is in need of some serious attention. Doors falling off, bannister on deck is need of serious repair, door handles to outside are bad. I understand the owner is in this to make money and time is money but they really need to do some serious upgrades before someone gets hurt. The repair team answered ASAP and fixed the few issues. The location is amazing. You could eat off the floor. Just needs some TLC here and there! Thanks, Brian

We very much enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home! There are a couple of things that I wanted to let you know about. first, I think the heating element in your dryer isn’t working very well. We had to dry each load 2-3 times to get everything dried. Also, the floors in the house are very dirty. The bottoms of our feet were black each day from the floors, so we had to wash our feet each night to avoid getting the sheets and bedding dirty. The door to the refrigerator was also stained and dirty. Other than that, everything was great!

The house was great for our trip and was really well-kept and clean upon arrival. The only two constructive feedback items we can give are: - We never received a response to our question/message on our portal a week in advance of our trip about umbrella/chair rentals. Yet we kept getting emails and texts that we could use the portal to ask any questions we wanted and get a response. Not getting any response at all was disappointing, it took a lot of phone calls and decent effort to track down one company that could provide this service for us. - The dryer doesn\'t dry. Both washing machine and dryer sound like they need to be replaced or repaired. Everything else was great and we\'d come back and stay there in a heartbeat. Thank you!

The location was perfect! The space was also perfect for our mother/daughter beach trip. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch! The decor was so cute and beachy. We absolutely loved the space! However, I rated cleanliness a 4 because we found nails (like trimmed from fingers) in one of the beds when the cover was pulled down and the glasses were really dirty when we went to use them. I also rated condition low. The unit definitely needs updating. We opened the cabinet to get plates out and the whole cabinet door fell off , luckily not hurting anyone. We reattached as best as we could. There are several tiles on the kitchen floor that are cracked and pinch your bare feet if you step on them. The only sliding glass doors we could get opened was the set right near the kitchen table. We did have to oil the track to be able to do that though. The other set downstairs and both sets upstairs could not be opened at all without the door falling sideways or not even budging. The kitchen faucet also spins around when you try to turn it on. It makes it difficult to use unless you use both hands to hold it still and turn it on. Overall, we had an amazing time! The space and the location were perfect! I just wanted to bring these items to your attention bc there are safety hazards as well as just functioning issues when renting. Thank you so much!

We we very happy with the property even though when we made the reservation the property advertised a pool which was something we wanted . Per the property management the owner did away with the pool this past winter. Other than that we enjoyed the property and the location is excellent.

The locations is awesome and the porch is wonderful.

Loved the spacious rooms and the porch is awesome. The dryer doesn't really dry and a burner was out on the stove, but I have never used 4 buners at once ever. Great neighborhood!

Great location

This house was great. Walking distance to the beach and a few restaurants. Driving distance to everything else. The communication with the staff was easy and accommodations were perfect.
