~ AMITABHA ~ Wine Country Cottage! Perfect gelegen in Santa Rosa

Deze geweldige plek is een heerlijke onderbreking in een over het algemeen overhaaste wereld. Het is zeker mooi, sereen, rustig, toevluchtsoord, wat een perfecte plek is om te overnachten in het land! Grote ramen aan de achterkant en voorkant van het huisje geven uitzicht op meer dan 200 jaar eiken. Boeddha's versieren de ruimte en creëren een uiterst zachte, vredige sfeer. Het is net zoals je je kunt voorstellen om je terug te trekken. Cottage is 100 meter afstand van prive-poort, omgeving 70 hectare prachtige heuvel, volledig afgelegen, vrij van de belangrijkste stad, maar ligt in de buurt van geweldige restaurants en wijnkelders. We zijn slechts 5 mijl ten zuiden van het centrum van Santa Rosa en 2 mijl ten noorden van Sonoma State University. Wij verbouwen onze eigen groenten en kippen, u kunt uw eigen verse eieren verzamelen voor het ontbijt. De keuken is volledig uitgerust met volledig fornuis met oven en vaatwasser en een mini-koelkast met vriesvak. Verse Starbucks gemalen geperste koffie en verschillende soorten thee altijd beschikbaar. De eigen complete badkamer biedt een wasmachine en droger met wasmiddel. Onze lichte woonkamer heeft een bank en elektrische open haard en satelliet-tv en dvd-speler met films. We hebben Verizon jetpack LIMITED wi-fi (niet geschikt voor video of streaming). Ons water komt uit een diepe put, veel mensen waarderen dat het geen waterchlorering of fluoridering heeft. Onze gastenmap is gevuld met de beste lokale plekken, en zo ongeveer alles wat je wilt weten over ons prachtige land en daarbuiten. We zijn toegewijd om aan al uw behoeften te voldoen. We zullen er alles aan doen om ervoor te zorgen dat uw verblijf bij AMITABHA onvergetelijk en aangenaam zal zijn.

Great Place - Excellent Host!

Super clean, gorgeous property - easily within drivng distance of all the top wineries. Only hiccup was not receiving the gate code, but Jesse was there & let us in. Fresh eggs provided was a nice touch. Turkeys on the property were a treat. We'll absolutely stay here next time we're nearby.

Gorgeous Property

We stayed two nights and it was fabulous. Everything was clean, neat, and orderly. They even left us eggs and bottled water in the . The property is on 2.75 acres and yet you’re five minutes from town, perfect location. We saw a deer, wild, turkeys, and owls throughout each day we were there. We met the owners, Jesse and Lisa, and they could not have been nicer people. They went out of their way to accommodate any of our needs. We will stay here again without question.

Central Wine Country Location

This is a great little cottage which has everything you need. The full kitchen was great, and the grill was great too. We cooked many meals here to save money on restaurants. The location was perfect to go to Napa, Sonoma and Santa Rosa wineries. Also, still close enough to go to San Francisco for a day trip. Lisa and Jeese were very good hosts, and the place was a great little retreat.

A slice of heaven

This was the cutest little studio in a wonderful location. On the outskirts of Santa Rosa so you are close to everything in Sonoma County, but on a gated property outside of town with woods on one side of you and a small open area on the other. Beautifully landscaped, too. Even though the owners live next door, there is a profound feeling of solitude and peace. I listened to the birds for hours. If you don't get up early and light bothers you, bring a good sleep mask. I highly recommend this sweet, peaceful property!

Perfect location for Exploring

Communication with hosts was very easy and they were very responsive. You knew you were in the country, wild turkeys calling and gobbling the morning. Woodpeckers. This was good for us. Very quiet. We visited several wineries, Sonoma Bontanical Gardens (excellent), Charles Shultz Museum in Santa Rosa (a real treat). Highly recommend. Would stay again if we were in the area.

Beautiful cottage in beautiful setting

The cottage is compact and well equipped, with everything we needed for our stay. The highlight for us was the garden with its variety of plants and birds - very relaxing. The local wild turkeys added their own special soundtrack to our visit. Jesse and Lisa are excellent hosts who responded to our questions quickly. Not so keen on Santa Rosa itself - hard to navigate through and the nearby wine tasting is greatly overpriced. Fortunately the cottage is well outside town, and there is good hiking only a short drive away. We recommend it highly. Chris & Becky

Comfortable, peaceful retreat. Jesse was friendly and helpful and sent prompt replies. Enjoyed morning coffee listening to birds and watching wild turkeys come in to roost in the trees behind the cottage at night. Private property is close to parks, hiking areas and a short drive to town. Fresh eggs from the chickens were a bonus!

Great place

If you are looking for a place to stay near wine country this is it. Fantastic property with a beautiful small cottage. The property was clean and the hosts were proactive in making sure we were comfortable during our stay. We will return here again for any future visits.

It was my wife’s 60 birthday and she wanted to go to Sonoma County for the first time. We could not have picked a more perfect location or place to stay. The cottage was exactly as pictured and the hosts had great local knowledge of some of the places we visited while there. We hope to return soon!

My wife and I had a conference in Santa Rosa. We wanted a quiet place to "retreat" to after each day's various meetings and sessions. Jesse's and Lisa's cottage was perfect for this.
