'The Shipyard Angra was an amazing place to stay and explore the island of Terceira from. There is a spacious garage underneath the hotel where we parked our rental car. The room was amazing, they upgraded us from a studio to an apartment, so nice! Spacious, with sitting area, a kitchen and a separate bedroom with a comfortable bed and automatic curtains. There were robes in the bathroom and rituals soap. The staff was very nice and helped us arrange a whale watching tour. Breakfast was delicious...

'This was an average stay but the advertising for this hotel was falsified and I do regret choosing it over other options. When you are picking the rooms the photos are all the same, so I was under the impression a “double” room, had a photo of two double beds. Turns out the room is much smaller than photographed, and it’s just one twin size bed. Very, very small for the price I paid and very unhappy about the false photos. The next incorrect advertisement that needs to be removed from their...

'Bit dated hotel, not enough loungers at pool. Great location and wonderful personnel.'

'The hotel is beautifully decorated, every space is exquisite, the location is a perfect startong point to visit Angra, and the personnel (everyone and each of them) makes you feel cared, appreciated and taken care of. We will definitely be back.'

'Ambiance très agréable. Espaces communs très conviviaux. Magnifique vue! Déjeuners copieux.'

'We liked absolutely everything! Wonderful, caring, polite and most helpful staff, hot tub was great, amazing breakfast and superior location! Lovely property, will make sure to come back if ever on the island again. Don’t look any further-this is the best hotel on the island!'

'Beautiful house and surroundings. Nice pool. Rooms were spacious, clean and well decorated but we missed curtains as we had windows on the street side. Insulation was a bigger problem, you could litterally hear everything (even the toilet) from the room next door. Breakfast was okay but it was very limited and they didn't come to refill it. Orange juice was made from powder :/'

'Check-in was easy. Our cabin was clean and quite cozy. Everyone was friendly and the coffee cabana on the property had great coffee, options for breakfast, or an evening desert. From our porch or the hammocks we enjoyed the visits from the cats, ducks, and chickens. Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing stay.'

'Very nice place to stay. Only thing we found disappointing is that we booked a sea view room, and while we could see the sea, 3/4 of the view was a Burger King. '

'O quarto muito espaçoso e limpo. Localização perfeita e a vista incrivel para o monte Brasil. Equipe de funcionários muito simpático. Adorei o lugar. '

'Mooi en proper hotel. Goede locatie. Vriendelijk personeel. Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt'

'Vackert beläget. Lite slitet men charmigt hotel. Trevlig personal.'

'Alles in orde.
