'We had a lovely holiday in the villa. The house is very big, the bedrooms are large and the beds were comfortable. The pool is very big and luxurious, with enough shade from the parasols. The surroundings were quiet, we had lovely views of the hills and were quite close (30 min drive) to multiple beaches. The nearest shops are 10-15 minutes away by car, which was very handy. A minor warning though: the water comes from an artesian well and contains iron and sulphur, which takes some getting...

'Estadia espectácular. As fotos não refletem a beleza do alojamento. A piscina tem uma vista fenomenal. O quarto (duplex) era enorme. O pequeno almoço (picnic box) tinha imensa quantidade e qualidade, até sentimos que não era necessário tanta comida. Gostamos imenso da experiência. '

'This is a perfect accommodation for people looking for a bit of peace, and the Portuguese country life. You will find yourself surrounded by agricultural fields, and quiet beaches located just minutes away. Next to the house is an important hiking route through the fields. The house has a piece of land. The household is practical, and the owners are very friendly and helpful in answering any questions you may have. You will notice immediately that it is a pet friendly accommodation.'

'nothing but compliments, only 1 tip: a one pager with some local guidances (doctors, supermarkets, need for additional towels/toilet paper). the man that was present at our arrival only speaks portuguese and we didn't. although he was very friendly, he wasn't much of help'

'We hebben genoten van dit prachtige huis met zwembad veranda en grote tuin. De villa heeft een mooie huiselijk inrichting. Je voelt je er gelijk thuis. Ook de barbecue en pizza oven met buitenkeuken maken het compleet. Onze kinderen en kleinkinderen hebben genoten. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.'

'Das Haus ist wunderbar mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, alles funktioniert tadellos und man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Wir reisen viel und nur alle paar Jahre treffen wir auf einen Ort mit so viel positiver und ruhiger Athosphäre. Wir können es nur empfehlen hier zu buchen, durch die Gegend zu spazieren und zu den nächsten Stränden zu fahren. In der Nebensaison ist es nicht überfüllt, was wir lieben (weniger touristisch als die Argarve). Cercal ist ein netter portugiesicher Ort, freundliche...

"We had an amazing stay. Our Junior Suite (301) was huge, clean, and really comfortable, with a big bathroom and balcony. Breakfast had so much choice. the bread rolls were delicious and fresh, though most of the fruit didn’t look fresh or was in syrup. That was the only downside. Portimão itself isn’t very lively (except for the touristy strip), but it’s easy to get to other coastal towns like Ferragudo, Vilamoura, or Lagos. The staff were super friendly. The rooftop pool is lovely, except for the fact that the sunbeds fill up very quickly. It was great that we could refill water bottles at reception. The beds were so good that we slept really well the whole week We had a wonderful holiday here. "
