Casa da Mercês I is a self-contained accommodation for two to four guests, set in a peaceful area between the sea and the impressive mountains that characterise the island's north coast. It occupies the upper floor of a recently built house and has a panoramic rooftop terrace with a magnificent view over the sea.

The accommodation is approximately 120 m² and comprises two bedrooms, one with a queen-size double bed (160 × 200 cm) and the other with two single beds (90 × 200 cm), a living room, a kitchen and dining area, and two bathrooms.

It has a private balcony spanning both bedrooms and a patio at the accommodation's entrance with a small table. On the rooftop, the private terrace has a barbecue and dining table in a covered area, a sun deck with sun loungers and an outdoor jacuzzi for the exclusive use of guests, with views over the sea and the north coastline — ideal for the sunset in summer. There is also parking for guests.

The accommodation is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international channels and other amenities to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay.



📍 NEIGHBOURHOOD

The accommodation is located in Ponta Delgada, in the municipality of São Vicente, on the north coast of Madeira, an area known for its lush landscape, deep valleys and imposing rock formations.

Nearby you can visit the seafront of São Vicente village, with several restaurants and cafés.

The location is an excellent starting point for exploring the north coast and the mountainous interior of the island, including Encumeada and Paul da Serra.

In the surrounding area you can enjoy outdoor activities, such as nature walks.

The property has access to the main roads, with Madeira Airport about 40 km away (approximately 48 minutes' drive).

A car is recommended for this location.

There is another self-contained accommodation on the ground floor, which shares the parking area and the exterior access.

The rooftop terrace and the jacuzzi are for the private use of guests of this accommodation.

To ensure the maintenance of the jacuzzi, authorised staff may access the property periodically.

Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.

The accommodation does not have air conditioning.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

If you have special needs or allergies, please contact us before booking so we can confirm whether we are able to accommodate them.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects and small lizards is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For anyone who is not comfortable with the presence of insects and lizards, we do not recommend staying in a rural area.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.

So that we can resolve any issue promptly, we ask that you report any faults or cleaning shortcomings immediately. Reports made after check-out may no longer be verified or resolved.
