Ontspan en kom tot rust in ons smaakvol ingerichte vakantiehuis aan het water. Dit goed onderhouden huis met één verdieping heeft 3 uitnodigende slaapkamers en 2 badkamers voor 7 personen voor echte gastvrijheid. Twee slaapkamers hebben nieuwe Posturepedic-matrassen en hypo-allergene kussens voor een vredige en rustgevende slaap. Beide badkamers zijn handig bevestigd aan de slaapkamers. Geniet van gratis wifi en het comfort van het kijken naar SMART 4K UHD TV met UHD Netflix in de woonkamer en SMART TV in de hoofdslaapkamer. Volledig uitgerust voor al uw kookbehoeften keuken heeft een mooie eethoek met uitzicht op meer. Andere voorzieningen zijn een vaatwasser, koelkast, fornuis en magnetron. Keuken en woonkamer hebben toegang tot ruime Lanai en prive zwembad. Huis heeft twee auto garage en een zeer grote oprit, evenals wasmachine en droger voor uw gemak. Ruime en luchtige woon- en eetkamer hebben schuifdeuren die volledig kunnen worden geopend voor Lanai op een koele dag om te genieten van de kustbries. Afgelegen omheinde achtertuin heeft een tropische tuin met mango- en avocadobomen. In het seizoen kunt u genieten van vers fruit.
Het huis is gelegen in de rustige, gezinsvriendelijke en gastvrije gemeenschap van Venice Gardens. Met de nabijheid van openbare tennisbanen, golfbanen, parken, scholen, lokale restaurants en prachtige stranden, zult u zeker een heerlijke vakantie hebben.
Het gebied is aangewezen als vogelreservaat en vanuit onze achtertuin met uitzicht op het meer kunt u de hele dag genieten van vogelspotten. Af en toe zie je een alligator of twee gracieus zwemmen in het meer.
Breng uw boottrailer mee - bootlancering is in de buurt bij Nokomis Jetty.
Venice, FL is de "Shark Tooth Capital of the World" en het Caspersen Beach is een van de beste beschietingsstranden ter wereld en een uitstekende plek voor het vinden van prehistorische haaientanden! Er zijn natuurwandelpaden die door zoet- en zoutwatermoerassen reizen, mangrovegebieden, wadplaten en uitstekende mogelijkheden om de natuur in Florida te verkennen en te leren.
Het prieel van het Centennial Park is de site van frequente gratis concerten gedurende de winter. De boerenmarkt van Detwiler is een uitstekende bestemming om te chatten met de lokale bevolking terwijl u lokale producten koopt voor uw gezonde en heerlijke maaltijden.
Twee uur durende reis brengt je naar de magische wereld van Disney.
House ligt ook dicht bij Warm Mineral Springs. Slechts 15 minuten rijden brengt u naar HEALING WATERS van Warm Mineral Springs ook wel "Fountain of Youth" genoemd.

Pros: the house was centrally located, had Aldi’s, Dunkin Donuts, and a shopping mall nearby, a 10 minute drive to Venice beach. The swimming pool was delightful, lite at night, the kids loved it. It was large enough to swim lapsThere were beach chairs and swimming noodles in the garage for our use, and a washer and dryer. Hair dryer and soaps in the shower off the master bedroom. The house had towels, toilet paper, napkins paper towels and trash bagsTwo bathrooms with showers and tubsWi-Fi, central air which worked wellLarge tv in living room that had streaming with Netflix and Amazon Prime.The house was very cleanCons: the third bedroom was not a bedroom but a small den with a pull out sofa which was very uncomfortable. Once the sofa was pulled out, there wasn’t much room to move around in the room. There was a small deck over the water which collapsed when the four of us stood on it to watch the sunset. We almost had a catastrophe when the end of it went down but fortunately none of us fell in. I notified the owner right away. He said thank you for notifying him but did not come to the house to see what actually happened. It was a day or two before someone came to corral it off. He did not ask if anyone was hurt. The lock box that held the key did not work despite all of our efforts. We had to go in and out of the house through the garage. The kitchen wasn’t very well stocked, although the refrigerator was good and it had an ice machine.

We had a fantastic stay at this home! The highlight was definitely the pool—our kids absolutely loved spending time there, and it made our vacation extra special. The house itself was comfortable and well-equipped, and although we encountered a few minor maintenance issues, the owner was incredibly responsive and took care of lt right away. We really appreciated the prompt communication and attention to detail. Overall a great experience!

The house was found to be in clean order. We found everything we needed for our short stay.However, the landscape could you a tidey, as well as the garage. As a former landlord, I understand not wanting to spend money on a property. But a few bucks would go a long way with this property renting for more money.

First impression outside was an eye sore. Grass and plants around house was grown up and need cutting badly. Surrounding houses lawns was cut and neat. House was very clean. A little updating especially furnishings in living room and removing the couch in the screen patio, would make this more pleasing place to stay.

Property was "as advertised. Location was excellent for ease of access to Venice and the surrounding area. Bird life was especially good for viewing in the back yard and we had at least 3 small alligators in the lake. Interior of the house was clean but could use some further maintenance (eg not all the blinds are in good repair.). Host was responsive and easy to work with.

House was as pictured in the listing. Enjoyed bird watching from the back yard every day. Pool was a nice extra, kids wished it was heated to a warmer temperature. Plenty of space for a family of 4! Proximity to the beaches were within reason too.

We stayed a week in the home to vacation and visit family friends in the area. The home is comfortable, clean, and conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, and beaches. Enjoyed the pool and backyard setting.

Overall the property was clean, furniture is outdated, but clean. Pool area was nice. Outside of property was definitely not the same as what the pictures depict. Landscaping was dead and there were dead bugs stuck all over the entrances. The biggest issue is that the air conditioning was not cooling the house. We arrived at 10pm and the inside temp was 83. We set the thermostat to 72 and there was no cold air blowing from the vents. So we decided to stay in a hotel for the night, came back the next morning at 9am and the inside temp only went down to 79. We made several attempts to discuss this with the owner, but the owner did not believe us, even though we had pictures and videos and called us liars several times. The owner was rude and unwilling to resolve the problem. We've been renting from VRBO for over 5 years and have never had such a bad experience. I'm sure the owner is going to say something negative about us in a response, but my review is based on facts.

This was our second stay at this property. We had a great time! The property had all the necessities and then some and the location is very convenient. Whenever we were not at the beach we enjoyed the pool and bird watching. Absolutely will plan to book again in the future.

We were very disappointed to find out that this house was not a 3 bedroom but really a 2 bedroom house! The 3rd room is not a bedroom ( does not have a closet) but is instead a den that is connected to the master bedroom with a sliding glass door to separate the two rooms! This actual room doesn’t have a bed but has an old sleeper sofa with a very uncomfortable thin mattress on it and didn’t have bed sheets for it so we had to improvised!! The blinds on the slinging door are missing/broken so no real privacy there either! Not to mention that our bed sheets had stains on them! They were clean but had big red stains that didn’t come out after washing them. The sliding glass door in the kitchen is literally missing the handle that we actually found in one the kitchen cabinet drawer. Light bulbs on lamps were out and I didn’t feel like it was my responsibility to take care of it! This property is to me not well kept as described on the website. I think someone should check the maintenance of the house before guests arrive to make sure that everything is working and in order!

The house was Ok. The furniture is old and the house is in need of repairs. TV was spotty which frustrated my husband. The orange plastic fence around the pool killed the vibe. It just needs comfy furniture that will fit a group of four and good internet and cable. Just a little TLC and it would be a great place.

I discussed our concerns with the owner and VRBO support when we refused to check-in upon arrival. There was hurricane damage to the lanai. The pool was filthy. I would not recommend staying at this property.

The home is older but was clean and comfortable and the owner was very responsive when needed. Venice is a great place and this house is close to everything. Unfortunately hurricane Ian destroyed the pool cage and it's awaiting installation which friends have told me takes months. It's no fault of the owner but that took away from the outdoor enjoyment. Some new lounge chairs for the lanai would also be helpful .

We selected this property primarily based on the pool and the photos of the pool vista. When we arrived we found the pool heater out of commission and the pool shelter removed. Refunding the heating fees does not fairly compensate for what we felt was an impaired property. We completely understand the shelter was hurricane related damage. But there has been plenty of time to amend the listing to note pool is not as depicted in photos.

This rental is on a bird sanctuary. If you’re a bird nerd, you’ll love this place. I would highly recommend bringing binoculars for bird watching if that’s your thing. Lots of bird books around the house for reference. This house is located in a residential area rather than tourist area. It was close to everything via car. It was wonderful to have the private pool to relax at the end of a busy day.
