MOOI HUIS gerestaureerd oud binnen en buiten, steen en balken, op zuidterras 80 m2, op de hoogten van Sarlat, met uitzicht op het zuiden, duikend op de daken van de stad, op monumenten en heuvels. Zeer rustig, groen en geïsoleerd op de top van een heuvel. 350 meter, te voet, het centrum en alle winkels in de buurt, en de markt 2 keer per week op woensdag en zaterdag, op 500 meter van het historische centrum en winkels. PRIVE VERWARMD ZWEMBAD 11x5 op teakhouten terras 60m2. Geen direct tegenover. Mooi stenen terras van ongeveer 100 m² met uitzicht op de stad en het zwembad, zodat u de hele dag kunt genieten van de zon en de zonsondergang achter de heuvels met een drankje in de hand. Zwemzout, zacht voor de huid, prikt niet in de ogen in tegenstelling tot de huid.
Buitenbank, Baby Foot, jumbo bag en outdoor biljart beschikbaar, veel bordspellen, veel dvd. Outdoor tafelvoetbal en outdoor biljart Tafeltennis, grote barbecue op het terras, gas bakplaat. 300/400 m van het centrum en winkels, en 500 m van het historische stadscentrum, bereikbaar via een klein landelijk parcours (of 2 km met de auto). Zwingen en miniglijbaan voor kinderen en veel spelletjes: jeu de boules. Het terras voor de deur huis is afgesloten door een poort, een kind kan het niet verlaten, dan is het zwembad afgesloten door een tweede deur. De eigen parkeerplaats en op de grond, is geschikt voor 2 auto's of nog veel meer door te manoeuvreren, en nog veel meer als men in de steeg parkeert. Hoogwaardige airconditioning in alle kamers. Verhuur van zaterdag tot zaterdag. Lakens en handdoeken optioneel op aanvraag

We had a fabulous week as a family here at the end of August. The house is very well equipped with a glorious pool, pool table, table tennis, 2x BBQ's etc. And everything you could possibly need inside. 4 really good sized Bedrooms, and enough bathrooms for everybody. It's a very short walk to town (15 mins) allowing you to benefit from the best of the town and what it has to offer, with its lovely local markets, entertainment and bars and restaurants. Further afield you are ideally positioned for local trips to the Dordogne, castles or caves, all of which can be reached in 30-40 mins or less. There are lots of facilities close by, with a large carrefour 5 mins drive to the North and a large E. Leclerc to the South. Communication with the owners was excellent, and they added some lovely little touches to make us feel welcome. The area is absolutely stunning, if you haven't been we would strongly recommend it, we loved the house. Thank you!

Paradise in Sarlat

After opening the gates to Sophie’s property, we weren’t quite prepared for how amazing the view was over the town over Sarlat. With a larger than average pool directly overlooking the town as well, it was evident that this place had beauty in abundance. The house itself was very well laid out, with everything to hand and access to a fantastic terrace overlooking the pool and the town as well. The grounds were totally private and safely enclosed for our two dogs to enjoy. We were very grateful for the air conditioning in every room ( and the fantastic pool) especially considering the soaring temperatures outside. The town was easily accessible, with a footpath located right next to the entrance. 10 minute walk and you have the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat at your disposal, with all its restaurants and entertainment. Our only regret, is that we didn’t stay longer, but after 26 years of visiting France, I would say that this is definitely in our top three, but we won’t say which one!!!.

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cette belle maison à Sarlat. Malgré notre venue en novembre, nous avons eu la chance de profiter pleinement de la grande piscine avec nos enfants. L’eau était parfaitement entretenue et la piscinenous a permis de vivre des moments de baignade exceptionnels, même en automne ! La maison est spacieuse, bien équipée et décorée avec goût, offrant tout le confort. Nous avons aussi apprécié le calme des lieux, idéal pour se reposer après des journées de découverte de la région. La présence des jeux extérieurs a été très appréciée par toute la famille. merci à notre hôte pour son accueil chaleureux et ses petites attentions. Nous repartons avec de beaux souvenirs.

Superbe séjour à Sarlat

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique dans cette maison à Sarlat. L’emplacement est idéal : en retrait pour plus de calme, tout en permettant d’accéder facilement au centre historique à pied. Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir un temps magnifique en cette période habituellement froide, ce qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement de la grande piscine, parfaite pour se détendre et s’amuser en famille. La maison est spacieuse et confortable, idéale pour les enfants. La vue sur l’environnement est splendide, et le cadre est véritablement agréable. Un endroit parfait pour profiter de Sarlat et de ses alentours très touristiques

SUPERBE SEJOUR

Nous avons passé un excellent sejour dans cette maison confortable. tous les équipements sont présents, la vue sur le sarlat historique invite à la reverie, nous avons pu passer des moments inoubliables avec mes filles grâce aux multipleas activités prévues par les propriétaires (baignade dans la grande et belle piscine chauffée, jeux de société, jeux d'exterieur - ping pong, billard, baby foot, balançoires…) Nous aimerions y être encore et reviendrons certainement l'année suivante

Booked for 1 week last August but only stayed 2 nights. Property not cleaned properly, left over food in fridge, old bedding and BBQ etc. in gardens. Hot tub not cleaned so unusable whilst we were there. Owners unhelpful.

House with a view in Sarlat

We had a fantastic stay in Jean and Sophie's house in Sarlat. It's in an excellent position just a short walk to Sarlat town centre and an easy drive to most of the places you'd wish to visit. The view over Sarlat is stunning. The amenities were everything you need for all ages to enjoy and were well kept and in a good condition. One shower sprung a leak and the gates got stuck but were immediately fixed with minimum fuss. Thank you for that! The video of how to get to the house was incredibly useful as we arrived very late and in the dark and the food and drink left for us was a thoughtful and welcome touch - again thank you! The whole family and partners had a thoroughly happy week and we would definitely consider going back and recommend to anyone to stay in this beautiful house. The Buckley Family

Fabulous villa in a great location

Well equipped family villa, great location and views over old Sarlat, fabulous pool and facilities to relax for a holiday in the Dordogne. Easy access to Sarlat down a path into town - you can leave your car behind. Fabulous time spent there, would definitely return and highly recommend. Owners were helpful and very responsive with lots of advice about restaurants and local places to visit.

The house is in an ideal quiet location with idyllic views. It’s a short walk to the centre of Sarlat and has easy access to surrounding attractions. The house had effective air conditioning and was well resourced. The pool was fabulous. The only minor issue was there were no rooms with en-suite toilets. The house was very good value and I would highly recommend it

Excellente experience

La propriété est idealement placée, au calme, avec une très jolie vue sur Sarlat et à quelques minutes à pied du centre ville. La maison est très agréable et très bien équipée y compris pour les loisirs (babyfoot, billard, table de ping pong sans parler de la très belle piscine idéale pour Ligner les longueurs). Les propriétaires sont très attentionnés, pleins de bons conseils et très réactifs en cas de question. Pour finir le Périgord noir est une région magnifique où l'on mange très bien.

Super séjour en famille en Dordogne !

Les hôtes ont été exceptionnels ! Ils nous ont très bien accueillis dans la maison, avec plein de petites attentions pour les adultes comme pour les enfants. Ils ont été à l’écoute et très réactifs dès que nous avions une question ou une souci. La maison était exactement comme nous l’attendions, très bien équipée et propre. Le chemin pour accéder à la maison est un peu étroit mais le parking peut loger deux voitures.

Such a great place

This is a fantastic villa with an amazing swimming pool and location. It’s a lovely short walk in to town. Communication was fantastic. The facilities were as described, the pool table especially gave lots of entertainment and thank goodness for the great aircon. Honestly didn’t want to leave. Superb Dordogne Stay

Fantastic stay in a wonderful location. Very close to the beautiful town of Sarlat, as well as close to the Dordogne river. Great base to explore the surrounding areas whilst having a beautiful view to accompany some splendid rouge vin during the night. Sophie was a great host with really quick communication on any questions we had. Very nice surprise of a keg of beer waiting for us. Only downside was some weeds were overgrown on the terrace hampering the view somewhat!

An amazing adventure in the center of Medieval History!

Sophie and Jean's home is the perfect location for a relaxing and amazing vacation. My three friends and I arrived in Sarlat and immediately relaxed in this gorgeous home. There was plenty of space for us all to have our own private comfortable rooms and also gorgeous locations for our joint gatherings. I can't say enough about the beauty of this home overlooking Sarlat, the comfort of the pool, and the blooming flowers everywhere! Sophie was easily accessible and so helpful with all of her suggestions. We definitely want to return!

Séjour agréable au cœur de Sarlat

Maison confortable, adaptée pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. Dommage que le spa ne soit pas fonctionnel durant la quasi totalité du séjour.

Perfect holiday home in a great location.

We’ve just stayed two weeks in this marvellous house which is a short walking distance from Sarlat. Our first impression was that the photographs did not do it justice. All subsequent impressions confirmed that view. The house is fully stocked with all the amenities one could want, from the toys in and around the large pool to the pool and table tennis table on the patio. A large outside table makes family mealtime easy and trouble free. Inside you have a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge with two downstairs bedrooms with showers. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms with an excellent bathroom, with a large shower. The house also has lots of games to keep the kids entertained in case it rains, as this didn’t happen during our stay, we just enjoyed the pool. Communication with Sophie was excellent and any queries were resolved quickly. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome gifts that were left for us, such as wine, a food parcel and beer. A lovely, much appreciated touch. The location of the property is perfect for walking into Sarlat. At the bottom of the drive, you turn left, follow a path and 7 minutes later you’re in the centre of Sarlat We’ve holidayed in Sarlat for the last 30 years and this is the best house that we’ve rented. We’ll be back.
