'This resort is truly amazing. It feels like an exotic experience like no other resorts. The mosaic patterns throughout the resort are so unique. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink and treated like family especially by Melanie, Sandy and Gloria. The food was so fresh and delicious. I had a massage which was excellent! We highly recommend treating yourself to this wonderful Abeeza Resort and Spa!!'

'Very nice small hotel in secret beach. Staff are very attentive to guests needs and requests. The property is well kept, very nice sunset views over the water and nice small private beach. A peaceful retreat away from the noisy secret beach places. This is the lagoon side, not the reef, so the water is shallow and you are in a mangrove forest so be prepared to deal with mosquitoes, nothing a good spray can’t fix. 'The staff at Portofino is definitely one of a kind. Never felt out of place, and everyone always seemed delighted to help. I traveled here for my birthday, and never told anyone. When I walked into my room after being out on the town all day the staff had decorated my room, and when I went to dinner at the onsite restaurant I was given a free dessert. Something so small, made me feel so special on my first international solo trip!! 15/10 definitely recommend Portofino Beach Resort !!!'

'We loved our stay at the dock house. Isis made the very best meals. Henry and Isis were very attentive to our needs and didn’t stay distant but we became friends! We felt very safe. The sea had sargassum - thanks for your honesty in the dock house info about possibly having sargassum- so it was great to have the pool. '10/10 would recommend this place to anyone! The property was massive. The villa was beautiful. The grounds crew cleared the seaweed from the beach and raked the sand, daily. Everyone that worked there was friendly. The concierge, Terri, was very helpful. The nearby restaurants were great (El Norte, Tranquility, Moon bar, Casa Alegre).
