'in 44 years of traveling around the world this was the worse and demeaning Hotel experience ever had( payment was made in advance BTW )! i cannot say anything about the accommodations because i never made it in!!! After an exhausting and temultuous trip to Potenza , my only concern was checking in , resting down my heavy luggage and preparing etc etc! however when i approached the door and tried to enter , there was no response or answer, i also tried to call a dozen times to no response! 'The house is very pretty and with the all the charm of a old house in the countryside. The fireplace completes the image. Everything was very clean. The garden is great: very large with cherry trees, wild strawberries and lots of roses. In the evening we could even see fireflies. The house is 10 min drive from the city and very close to the lake. The street to reach it is very narrow at the end. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. My kids ruined the beddings of one bad by mistake and...

'Such a gem! We really enjoyed our stay. The host was great and had an entire book of local places to see and places to eat! The house is within a reasonable distance from Salerno. We were able to catch the train from Salerno / Pompeii and Naples. We enjoyed our stay very much. it was perfect for our 3 dogs and our cat to run around in the completely enclosed property -surrounded by olive trees.'
