'A very spacious property both inside and out. Very well equipped, and appearing to be further developed. Very good kitchen, bbq and outside areas and a rather quirky inside layout. Lots of space for families with children. We had an issue at one point and the owners, who are charming people, were very quick to respond and to try and sort things out. The pool, of course, is excellent, particularly as we had extremely hot weather.'

'Het vakantiehuis heeft een grote tuin waar ook genoeg schaduwplekken zijn. De inrichting van de woning is wat gedateerd. WiFi ontbreekt in het huis in tegenstelling tot de advertentie. Wel kan gebruik gemaakt worden van de WiFi in de bibliotheek van het naastliggende hotel/kasteel tussen 8 uur ‘s ochtends en 8 uur ‘s avonds. Qua voorzieningen is het dorp Le Puy-Notre Dame achteruit gegaan. Gelukkig is de bakker er nog wel.'

The swimming pool as well as the mountain bikes, the nice terrace and the house itself made the holiday great, but above all the hospitality of the owner Jean and his wife Nou-Nou (we hope we spelled it right) were very nice. 'Lisa, Mark and Tom were wonderful and kind hosts and made us feel welcome right away. The accommodation has a beautiful, well-kept garden with a fenced heated pool, which was lovely! Our toddler also really enjoyed the swing, slide, little playhouse and toy cars in the garden and while she was playing, we could relax in the shade of one of the many trees. Our gite (Le Petit Logis) was tastefully decorated and while the upstairs bedroom could get warm during hot summer days, the living room...

'De dorpswoning is mooi gerenoveerd, gezellig ingericht en al het nodige is aanwezig. De binnenkoer is klein, maar biedt voldoende ruimte om te ontbijten of een boek te lezen. Er is geen parkeerplaats aan de woning, maar wij hebben altijd kunnen parkeren naast het kasteel aan de kaai. Via een ‘ruelle’ was het dan slechts 2 minuten stappen tot de woning. Montsoreau is klein, met mooi onderhouden authentieke huizen. Op 700m van de woning is het dorpsplein met bakker, slager, horeca,…'

'The house is really comfortable and centrally located. Groceries in Loudun and trips to Saumur/Chinon are easily setup. The house is cool and has everything you need to spend a day at the pool. Even with young kids like ours. The concierge is really helpful and supportive. In short, we had a blast. Thank you.'
