'Loved this place. It is well designed and appointed with ample amenities. It was very clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive to messages, and checked in through messages to see how the stay was going. The location is two blocks from great coffee and food establishments. A great grocery store was only .5 miles away. The neighborhood is pretty and quiet. Definitely will stay here again if we come back to Portland :)'

'Great stay downtown'

' The road to the cottage doesn't have street lighting and it has some rough patches. The very end is a gravel road, driving at night can be tricky, but the place is worth it. Nice cottage, quiet and cozy. Had everything I needed. Can't wait to go again when the skies are clear.'

'Unfortunately, our reservation was double-booked. When we arrived, the cabin was already occupied by another guest. We were unable to reach anyone from either the property or Vrbo who could help at the time, so we had to spend part of our vacation finding another place to stay. Communication was difficult throughout the process. We booked through Expedia, and because the reservation was processed through Vrbo, we were unable to receive messages or check-in instructions. 'I loved the greenhouse entrance and heating area. It is a little small for 2 people with luggage. The host was very responsive to all of my questions. Loved the area’s cafes, taverns and shops.'

'I wish I could give this property a 5-star rating overall, but housekeeping came up short. The bathroom sink needed to be cleaned, the bath towels and bedclothes from the previous guest were lying on the floor and the bed had not been made. Additionally, there was an issue with the connectivity for the TV. The room was quiet and comfortable otherwise. There was always a place to park. '

'Vicky is a wonderful host. The clean apartment is furnished with an eye for details and has a separate bedroom, large bathroom, kitchen and spacious dining room. The kitchen has everything you need. The bed is comfortable. The large deck has a nice view of Portland. The apartment is located in one of the better areas of Portland. It is a 40 minute walk to the center. There is also a bus. In short, everything you need for a relaxing and pleasant stay close to the city.'

'The patio cottage is my go-to place to stay in Portland, along with its sister property, the patio suite. Scott is a fantastic host and the cottage is well-equipped and cozy, with lovely outdoor space as well. The neighborhood is great and close to many restaurants and public transport. I will definitely be back!'
