'Loved our 3 day stay over St.Patty’s weekend. This place is close to everything. 3 min walk to secluded Tybee River beach. Plus, 5 min walk to one of the best restaurants in the island,AJ’s. The Herrons Nest is comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet and clean. Easy to get a Uber for a jaunt to Savannah. Thank you for a very well hosted stay on Tybee.'

'We spent 12 nights here over New Year’s and into the New Year. Location is very close to beach. Even though it was January we walked the beach multiple times a day. We also enjoyed the balcony to catch the morning sun. The owner was very responsive to any question we had. 'I highly recommend this place if you want to stay on Tybee Island. It is right in the middle of shopping and restaurants and only one block to the beach. The staff is super friendly and the room was very clean. Yes it is an older hotel, but it has been completely renovated, so it feels new. Parking was super easy. They even let us check in early because our room was ready. I thought we might be in for a noisy night since we were right on the strip by the restaurants but it actually ended up...

'Our initial room assignment was dirty and had a fist-punch mark on the wall next to the sink. I don't think it was supposed to be rented out. You could tell it hadn't been cleaned in a while. We discussed it with the manager and was promptly moved to an upgraded, very clean, room with a kitchenette. That room was very nice.
