My son, my almost 80 year old mom and myself stayed here for my son's USAgym Region 5 Championships and to attend The Big 10 Men's Gymnastics Championship at University of Illinois. Clean, plenty of room, close to the University, safe, close to downtown with many places to eat.'

We enjoyed the location - getting to & from ‘town’ The house was spacious enough for all 5 or us and wax stocked with everything needed for a weekend stay. Our only complaint is the box springs on both of the full size beds were extremely creaky! They should really be replaced to allow for a good nights sleep.'

'The house definitely has plenty of space. Beds were comfy. However, it is very musty smelling and no windows that open. There was mouse poop under the kitchen sink. There was hair, nail clippings in the bathroom cabinets, drips of somesort on the kitchen cabinets, fridge/freezer had old food stuck on. We parked in the driveway, as directed, and ended up with two large dents in our hood due to acorns falling off of the tree. 'We rented this property for 8 days. We arrived to find that the property had not been cleaned between rentals. On day 3 a storm knocked out the power at this property. The property host knew the power was out but had no solution for us so we went to a hotel. The power stayed out the next day so we stayed again in a hotel and had to rent a second hotel room for family who were to stay with us. The power came back on late in the afternoon on day five. By that time we had already rented our hotel...

'We had 4 families with 6 kids under 9 meet for the New Year and there was plenty of room for all of us. The large dining area had big tables great for serving and playing games. Our only burden was the grill, it is very weathered and unusable. Minor issues but nothing worth reviewing… Overall, we had a great time!'

'The house was big and spacious and easily accommodated all of us. Parking was easy. It was close to campus and other shopping. Noisy train at night and dogs at pet day care started barking early in the morning made it challenging to sleep. Everything else was good.'
