'Really don't know how this place got such a good rating on hotels.com Yes, the staff is very friendly and helpfull, but that's about it. Negatives: Light switches not working Tv was broken Wifi didn't work Bathroom was full of mold and ants I could not stand under the shower because the shower head was so low. Breakfast didn't include bread Positives: Room was big Bed was good This place is not worth the amount of money you have to pay.'

'The Mountain House is unique. It is truly an old house that has been modified to include rooms and a restaurant. There are about 8-10 rooms in the Main House where we stayed. There is a separate building called the Bunkhouse out back. The room was clean but very small and tight. More so that I thought was possible but we got used to it. 'Loved Outpost Inn; highly recommend and can't imagine staying anywhere else in town -- incredible vibe, great coffee shop and wine bar, lots of cute spots to sit inside and outside. It felt like the place in town when all the younger, cooler (young meaning, 50 and under, ha) hang out. I loved my room, which was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the free drip coffee in the mornings. And wow, the weather in Highlands can't be beat in the summer.'
