'Ferry (Han's friend/helper) was so kind and welcoming. He helped us carry our bags into the boat and oriented us to living on the boat. He even put some drinks in the fridge to welcome us. He was very responsive to questions. The boat was beautiful. You can see a lot of love went into the craftsmanship. The beds were very comfortable - great mattress toppers meant we slept really well! 'Casey is een superhost die je snel op je gemak stelt en wegwijs maakt op de boot en in de buurt. Ik heb heerlijk geslapen, al moet je wel tegen wat gewiebel kunnen op de boot. Een bootje is geen luxe hotel, het lijkt wat meer op kamperen, maar alles wat ik nodig had, was er. En meer dan dat: uitzicht over het water en direct kunnen lopen over de dijk zijn goud waard. De supermarkt is dichtbij en heeft heerlijk eten. En je bent zo in Amsterdam voor museumbezoek. Kortom, ik heb genoten.'

'We spent two nights aboard the lovely houseboat, Orpheus. It was so fun! We enjoyed sitting on the little deck and raising a glass of wine to all the passing boats. It is just as pictured and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Amsterdam. Everything from check-in to our last meal aboard went smoothly. 'Het is bijzonder om in zo’n boot te slapen, maar bij warm weer niet te doen. Je kan helaas de ramen niet open maken om te ventileren, omdat de muggen naar binnen komen. 'Wir waren zu zweit für 1 Woche in einem Ferienwohnung-Hausboot, das für 4 Personen ausgerichtet ist. Dafür finde ich es etwas zu klein. Allerdings ist die Lage am Ende des Stegs, mit "unverbautem" Blick auf den See unschlagbar. Würde ich auf jeden Fall noch mal machen. Wer Wassersport mag, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten: Segelschule, surfen, Motorboot, Stand-up ... alles da. Auch Fahrradverleih etc direkt am Yachthafen. Bademöglichkeiten auch für Kinder gibt es 2 in fußläufiger Entfernung. Und...
