'It was a nice get away for our wedding anniversary. We were able to bring our dogs and use the private strip of beach a couple of cottages away. This was a great quiet trip. The only thing that could have been better is the AC in the cottage. A window unit is provided but with 90 temps it couldn’t keep up.'

'We set out looking for a large house close to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown that would house our group of 9 family style. This house fit our needs and was more than comfortable. 'My family stayed at this cottage while visiting the historical triangle. My kids absolutely loved fishing off the bridge and catching the tiny crabs around the property. 'Property manager canceled my stay with no notice. I had already driven a great distance to be there. Took several days for them to issue the refund despite the fact that they canceled the reservation same day. Actually they told me I had to cancel the reservation on my end. I assume this was so they would still get the money from the reservation, but I called to cancel it and explain the situation. Long story short don’t book here.'

'the week was HOT!!! (100 degrees) but the house was cool, clean, comfortable and well stocked. The view of the river/bay was breathtaking. Secluded and quiet which is what we were looking for. My husband wants to come back and he's hard to please. We had good communication with the owner when we had questions. Amazed how well-stocked this property was. We'll be back!!!'
