'Beautiful location halfway between Portree and Uig, perfect for exploring the Trotternish peninsula. The premises are spotless and in excellent condition. The hosts were very accommodating and personable. Breakfast was delicious. Note: if you do not have a car, transportation could be tricky. Nearest restaurants are 20 minutes away by vehicle. Would stay again. Highly recommend Loch Eyre House!'

'We loved our brief stay at the Queen’s. My husband had been taken ill on arrival in Lerwick and we had to change our plans to let him rest up. We booked last minute and were surprised to be able to still choose a twin room with sea view. The sea literally lapped outside our window and the view was stunning. The hotel has a fascinating history and is built actually into the sea so those who complained of damp should have gone some where else. The shower was great with loads of instant hot water...
