'Het hotel is overduidelijk onderhevig aan een geleidelijke opknapbeurt, veel is brandnieuw of net geverfd, er is alleen nog niet geïnvesteerd in sfeer, dus dat is nog ver te zoeken. Men is erg vriendelijk en het eten is goed, het uitzicht prachtig.'

'Proper stay for a night or two. Very friendly welcome at the bar. Room was recently renovated with a good mattress and clean bathroom. Improvement points: Hallway to the rooms smells to smoking. Service at breakfast could be improved, the lady seemed in a bad mood.'

'Wonderful hosts whom made us a late request dinner. Rooms were clean and neat and everything was well decorated and functioning. A very nice breakfast as well. A minute to the ferry to Isle of Mull giving plenty of time for a day exploring Duart castle and Tobermorey. Highly recommend!'

'No issues welcoming hosts very clean ideal for my short stay while I was working on the island but equally as good for anyone talking a short hiking break or similar would recommend and be more than happy to stay when I return next year'

'Beautiful scenes of the sea and mountains from the breakfast room and bedroom. Nice room with ensuite bathroom. Only the wifi didn't work properly. Lady of the house had tried to fix this, but with no luck during our stay. '

'From the moment I was on this property I knew this is where I was meant to be. I was only there for one night, although when I return to South Uist I will certainly stay longer. The Breakfast was outstanding, the knowledge of the area from the owner and how helpful he was, was refreshing. This property and management is a 10 out of 10 for me. See you when I return :)'
