'Don’t be fooled by the classification “Suite”. They’re just standard hotel rooms. So no separate bedroom. Staff varies dramatically from friendly, via uninterested to just rude (especially in body language). Items missing or exchanged without notification from ordered food. 'the Chef was great, it is a small family owned place and they all chip in , the food was the best I had on the ISLAND in years. depending on your room and what you book, you get different things but the overal experience was great unless you want a more Eurocentric experience in the carribean, then the other Resorts are for you, but I love this little family Run place, was HOME. 'Though not the most luxurious place I have ever stayed in, this vacation definitely owns a place in my personal top 3. Staff is friendly, and given the scale of the hotel the overall experience very intimate and personal. Rooms all have magnificent views, outdoor showers and overall comfort is good. Our room did have a ceiling fan that wasn't quite up to the task but all-in-all this did not affect the wonderful week we spent at Cocos. Food is excellent, give our greetings to Acarie.'

'As expected, the establishment was very dated. My first impression of the room gave me buyer’s remorse. However, the facility was very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and the beach was beautiful and peaceful. I would recommend this resort to anyone who is just looking for a safe and clean affordable place to lay their head while they enjoy the beach. '

'Great resort for our older family. Very quiet, but with everything you need. Pool areas were great, but having access to Prickly Pear island really made this place standout. We did some off resort adventures, but our best days were on Prickly Pear and hanging by the pool. We had a 4 bedroom unit and it was perfect. Would stay here again if coming to Antigua. '

'We were a little sceptical about Galleon Beach Resort due to limited reviews but we did not regret booking.
Upon arrival Talia showed us down to Sea Breeze - cottage number 10. She left a welcome sheet providing her mobile number incase we needed it, numbers of taxis etc.
The cottage was beautiful with a living area with two small couches, a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, fridge water cooler and 2 plate hob.

'The resort is located on a bay in a secluded part of the island, so if you are looking for a place to unwind and lose track of time, you found it. The premium rooms are amazing and the view of the bay is breathtaking. Waking up early everyday to this was worth it. We had a day bed to lounge on next to our plunge pool in the room to relax.
