'This place was perfect size for my husband and I and another couple to stay and enjoy an extended weekend. I give it a 4 star over all stay due to the 2 bedroom has more of a closet door instead of a true door that had difficulty closing at night. All new appliances were perfect for cooking dinner at night and perfect location to do the Nelson 151 wine tour.'

'Perfect little place for my husband and I to stay while visiting our daughter at UVA. It was a quick drive to campus. This cottage provides more room than a hotel room. There was a cute back porch (with a porch swing!) that you could relax and have a glass of wine. Our cottage looked out on a pasture with goats.'

'Wanted something different and this was. Had no real problems other than a few bugs but the room was a better choice than a hotel room. Only downside was the long drive at night on dark and winding roads. '

'The cottage was beautiful. Very nicely decorated, had many amenities, like bathrobes, which we loved. It’s the little things :-) The WiFi was great, which was important to us, because we worked from there. It is in a perfect location between downtown Charlottesville and all the wineries. The property manager was very quick to reply to all my questions, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!'

'My family stayed here during part of our spring break. It was a charming cottage—rustic on the outside, but modern cabin on the inside. My young daughters loved it and keep asking to go back to “the cottage.” The location was excellent and seemingly everything we wanted to check out — trails, wineries, campus — was all less than 30 minutes away. 10/10 would stay again.'

'We loved everything about our stay at this beautiful cottage for my nephew's wedding at Castle Hill Cider that is just down the road. It was in the perfect location, wonderfully decorated, well appointed, and even had an amazing amount of storage for the wedding cake and cupcakes that I had made for the big event. The views were stellar, the hosts were very communicative, and I can't wait to return. Choose this place to stay every time!'

'Extremely clean and decorated very well. It was a short stay so didnt use the fire pit or hot tub, but the couch and bed were very comfortable. Great price compared to many places in Charlottsville. Would definitely stay again.'
