'Stayed at this rental for Labor Day weekend with my family. The house was amazing, it was clean the beds were super comfortable, the only thing that was a little annoying was the squeaking of the bunk bed every time you move. Other than that, everything was great. we used the bikes that were available to bike to the beach and the shower outside was amazing! the bike ride to beach is about 10-15 min and walking is like 40 min, driving 5 min. I recommend staying here!'

'But definitely not our last. We wanted a beach getaway without the traffic and crowds you find further south and Broadkill fit the bill. This cottage is perfect for a couple a family or small group. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook meals. We loved hanging out on the screened porch playing cards and a couple of the board games provided. The beach is just a 2 minute walk and my husband is still talking about the pizza he had from the Broadkill store...

'It is a very cute little place and very nice for two. The only bad thing is the traffic getting out of the road or even returning. Heading out you have to go right and returning you need to go past and make a u turn and slide over one lane to make the turn to the road. I was honked at many times for doing this. As well the home is very close to the road RT 1 and the traffic noise is unreal. I'm an outdoor type person and love sitting on a porch, but did only twice in the time we were there....

'Location is perfect, 1stChoice (property management company) communicated well before the rental, and accommodated a very late check-in. Minor aspects noticed: Some wear and tear is visible on the property, with little effort to hide: one broken blind, the welcome binder was broken, one of the blankets was stained (either rust or food/tomato?), a cool bottle opener not working. - The owner who seems to live nearby had his car parked in one of our two parking spaces, without checking with us...

'Our experience is a bit skewed by the fact that our four year old was acting like a monster but overall the house was in a nice community with a great pool /playground facility and driving distance from Delaware beaches and attractions. I would recommend heading out early to beat the traffic and hit Dewey Beach, Lewes or Bethany for a more relaxed atmosphere. Rehoboth is nice but it’s also very busy and commercialized. The local campsite store is a good place to grab breakfast and Brick Works...

'The house is perfect for small families and right on the water as advertised. Both the front and back yard are fenced in with ample outdoor furniture and grill. The porch is lovely with wrap around screened in windows, we did not use the bed in this space but a nice mostly private option for those who may need it. Very mermaid themed for all mermaid lovers.'

'Stayed 2 very peaceful nights at this very clean and well furnished home. We found the beds nicely firm. There were sufficient outlets to charge our electronics and we appreciated the coffee supplies. We didnt cook but the kitchen seemed well stocked. This is a cozy, comfortable place. The only challenge is that the bathroom is a single step up. This didnt work well for one in our party but for the rest of us it was fine.'
