'We had a wonderful week at the folly.The weather was very nice and we visited lots of sights in the neighbourhood. We would especially recommend Raby Castle. What a beautiful place to visit. The house was very nice and the owners were very friendly people. The only thing we missed were the curtains in the bedroom. '

'This is a versatile accommodation for business, pleasure, families. Set in a fantastic location at the bottom of penshaw monument. There are some many places within a short drive. If you don’t want to drive there is lots to do in the immediate surrounding area. A short walk and you are down by the river, where there is a great coffee shop or friendly pub. 'The Hen House cottage was a great place to stay for our trip in the Durham area. The village of Brandon is a beautiful location for going for walks in the countryside and with a great pub/ restaurant called the Bay Horse Inn on 50m away it’s a perfect place to stay. The village is very close to the historic house, chapels and gardens of Ushaw and Brancepeth Castle, which are both excellent places to visit!! Would happily stay here again when visiting the area as it’s a perfect little...

'Prettig verblijf, zeker als je van rust en ruimte houdt. Aardige gastvrouw die je graag van dienst wil zijn. Huisje netjes en compleet. Het enige minpuntje was dat wij bij een bepaalde windrichting de autoweg hoorden. Mogelijk maken we nogmaals gebruik van de accomodatie.'

'Mooie pand, super locatie. Niet ver van het station, vlak bij de kaaien waar je super mooi kan wandelen en is het mooiste stuk van de stad. Vlak bij het centrum. Leuke eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Wij hadden een duplex appartement. Ongelooflijk mooi en ruim. Absoluut een aanrader! '
