'Hotel lijkt meer op een motel maar is mooi gelegen en kamers hebben prachtig zicht op de baai. Ontbijt is overvloedig in hoeveelheid maar enkel zoete dingen (een beetje teveel van het goedenavond Europese normen). Ontvangst was zeer goed. Wij waren hier voor 3 dagen en hadden spijt om verder te moeten trekken'

'Place is absolutely disgusting. Hair all over the place, moldy dollar store shower curtain, toilet that continually runs, lights that don’t work, filthy appliances, trip hazards, no curtains stale pastries and a clown of a manger. Better off at any motel in the area. Maybe they need to run some scam to fix up the place???'

'Check in was fine. Room was dirty, peeling paint, cracked walls. Tv did not work, switched remote, worked ok for a bit then tv shut off and wouldnt turn back on. Volume key did not work so the volume was not adjustable. No lamp shade on desk lamp. Wifi was useless. Beakfast was coffee and white bread. Will not stay here again.'

'The property was very clean. The staff was helpful. It was such a quiet place. Everything worked inside the room. I just couldn't get the tv to work. I had been coming there for a few years when I lived in Philly. I went back this time, and I see they are still keeping their same excellent status. I would go back.'

'AC DIDNT WORK, TV AND CABLE DIDNT WORK. breakfast was terrible (no fruits, no veggies, no eggs, no juce). Only corn flakes with milk , mini muffins and bread with jam, coffee. That’s it. No proteins at all!! If you don’t need breakfast it’s ok to stay one night.'

'Had a corner room with balcony facing south and a window east so saw sunrise and sunset. Weather cooperated and Long Beach walks. Breakfast was fresh, bountiful and delicious. Waitstaff was attentive and pleasant. Would recommend this hotel without reservation '

'This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. Don't expect too much about the breakfast and the location of the hotel but it is clean and the staff is ok. The private beach is a nice extra.'

'Our first surprise was the $75 PER NIGHT pet cleaning fee. This might have been understandable if they had cleaned our room at all during our stay. We didn't see a soul the entire time. We were all alone in the hotel and surrounding restaurant. Good thing we didn't need clean towels. No services whatsoever. They gave us a key and told us to lock up when we left. Kind of like The Shining. But with waves. '

'I come here every year for a conference. I love the large, suite-like rooms with kitchenettes, and comfortable king-sized beds. The property is a stunning building built in 1923. The staff is friendly and highly competent. '
