Cute West Seattle Cottage

Onze studio heeft hoge plafonds en grote ramen waardoor het licht en helder is. Het heeft een queensize bed en een queensize Hide-A-bed voor maximaal 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen in een studio-omgeving. De studio is vooral geschikt voor een stel of een klein gezin. (Helaas kunnen we niet geschikt voor 4 volwassenen.) We hebben ook een pack 'n' play, die we op verzoek kunnen verstrekken. Er is een 42-inch flatscreen-tv met kabel- en dvd-speler en een bureau waar u uw laptop kunt opstellen om gebruik te maken van ons supersnelle draadloos internet.

In de keuken vindt u een koelkast, een oven / fornuis, een koffiezetapparaat en een magnetron. De kasten zijn gevuld met alle gerechten en apparatuur die u nodig heeft tijdens uw verblijf. We slaan koffie en wat voorraadartikelen op om mee te beginnen. De badkamer heeft alle benodigdheden en een paar extra's. Het heeft alleen een douche, geen bad.

De studio ligt aan de noordkant van het hoofdgebouw en naast de watertoren van Charlestown. De tuin is een aangename plek om te ontspannen. Er is ook een speeltuin voor kinderen in de achtertuin.

Hoewel u zich comfortabel en gezellig kunt voelen in de stille, vredige studio, bevindt u zich op slechts enkele straten van het hart van onze wijk. Loop de straat af naar de West Seattle Junction, een voetgangers hotspot met uitstekende kunstwerken, antiek, coffeeshops, geweldige restaurants, een apotheek, supermarkten, het hele jaar door de zondagsmarkt van Farmer's Market en het nachtleven.

U bent ook slechts een korte afstand van Alki Beach, Lincoln Park en de Elliot Bay Water Taxi. Alki Beach is een geweldige plek voor zomergeluk en een prachtig uitzicht op het centrum; Lincoln Park is geweldig voor een wandeling in het bos of een duik in het zoutwaterzwembad. De Elliot Bay Water Taxi van Seacrest Pier naar het centrum van Seattle is een geweldige manier om een ​​fantastisch uitzicht te ervaren op een snelle rit naar het centrum en vermijd parkeren in de binnenstad. Met de auto, het centrum van Seattle is slechts 10 minuten. Of een andere geweldige probleemloze optie is om met een metrobus te stappen en slechts 15-20 minuten te rijden.

Better than advertised

My only regret is not staying longer. The cottage was very nice, my wife and I both said Wow at the same time as we entered. It’s a beautiful place, and the host was fabulous. I never got to meet Janet, but we communicated through the VRBO portal. She seems like she has a very sweet demeanor. She was very responsive and helpful, making suggestions to restaurants and sights. She had notes throughout saying, Help yourself to anything in the cabinet. I felt more like a family member than a customer.

Quiet guesthouse in nice neighborhood

The neighborhood is very quiet and cute, within walking distance from restaurants and shops. The cottage is open and bright and had everything we needed. We might suggest for guests who are light sleepers to bring eye masks since it is so bright. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there even were a lot of games, including pin ball and shuffleboard. We enjoyed our stay!

This place is bright with lots of windows, roomy and comfortable. The bed was great and plenty of pillow options to find the just right one. The kitchen is well stocked. The air conditioning was a nice treat. The garden outside is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet. You are close to everything. Constellation Park is a 5 minute drive with great tide pooling. I enjoyed Ampersand Cafe on Alki with great coffee, breakfast items, and a waterfront view. There is also Metropolitan Market nearby with great produce, deli and hot bar. Janet was an incredible and thoughtful host.

Charming and Well Stocked

We loved our stay in this guest house. It was clean, comfortable and quiet, and the Shafis are friendly and welcoming. It's pretty obvious that they put a lot of thought into preparing for guests, as the place is well stocked with the usual needs, plus games and even picnic supplies. There is also plenty of seating in their lovely garden, which alone is worth the price of admission. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to stay there again when we find ourselves in the area.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay while in Seattle.

My boyfriend and I just stayed here for three days and we can't say enough about what a gem of a property it is.. The cottage is just adorable and one can see how much the property owners love this cottage by the decor, attention to detail, cleanliness, quality of furniture, lines, towels etc. The property is in a fabulous location (2 miles from the beach, a mile from the Junction (wonderful restaurants and stores), easy ride via car or water taxi into Seattle) and I know the next time we are in Seattle we will be staying there again. Janet and Roshon are the best hosts ever. We were fortunate to have met them in person and spent some quality time talking with them and getting to know them. They sincerely care about the well being of their guests, you just can't get any better. I've been using VRBO for my vacations for a long time and this one was the best ever.
