'It’s a very unique old hotel dating back to 1896. The architecture has not been updated but keeps a funky charm. Reused old wood furniture, old tub with an attached shower. Pub on site. Sauna and garden to relax. A pool table and board games. Fire place in the lounge area. Victoria was awesome. Loved it and would stay there again but not like a modern hotel.'

'Adorable cottages, beautifully maintained and well taken care of. You can walk to anywhere from here, so save some money and stay across the street from the beach. Great spot'

'The Host is excellent. The vibe is excellent. The only drawback honestly was the shower set up. The shower head would spray out the door when opening the sliding door and turning it on to the warm setting. Other than that? I’d say five stars. There was a 1 1/2” mold area forming at the corner of the ceiling above the window at the front of the room. Check at the corner of ceiling to wall above said window. Easy remedy. '

'Our family stayed here on a trip to Long Beach. Previously we had stayed at VRBOs, campsites, and other hotels in the area, as the Fireside Inn was not built when we last visited. We weren’t sure what to expect, but we were very pleased with the accommodations. It was clean, comfortable and Roger, the owner, was great! The staff were friendly and attentive. 'A second Coffeepad would have been great. Good Stay. Room was overheated when I came. Unnessesary, I made a reservation hours before. But it cooled down quickly with open door.'

'We were going to arrive after the office closed for the evening. We called and the young lady at the desk was very helpful. She said she would leave our key under the mat in front of our door. Sure enough it was there when we finally arrived. Parking was excellent and the view from the room was fantastic.'
