'The home was very nice and cozy. The owner was very friendly and told us we could use the red canoe which was very nice. I have never stayed in a Vrbo that didn’t have a tv, hairdryer or games. That would have been nice to know a head of time. The communication with bad as was. Wry frustrating as we had questions before our trip that were not answered but then they were ans6 times in a row once we arrived'

'Very charming "old school" rustic cabin. Location was great with plenty of privacy. Views of the lake are beautiful and the "dock" is a great addition. Id consider trimming some of the trees back at the waterline if that's legal. Outdoor and indoor furniture is a little dated so glad we brought our own camping chairs. Beds and bathrooms were nice. Everything was clean enough. Spotted the odd ant here and there but growing up in Maine that is very normal with cabins up here. An outdoor fire pit...

'Great place to stay. Owners are responsive and very nice. Moosehead Lake is a 5 minute trip to the launch. Plenty of room for truck and boat at the property. Enjoyed our stay and planning on coming back soon.'

'This was our second stay at Big Moose Lodge, and it didn’t disappoint. The lodge is spacious, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet. Surrounded by 100-year-old pines, the setting is absolutely stunning, and the dock feels like something out of a luxury resort. It’s the perfect spot to relax by the water with unbeatable views. 'Stayed for 6 Nights, and this is our second time staying here. The property is always clean, check in and out is easy. Usually quiet depending on the people staying in the other cabins but this was another great stay'
