'The facilities offered by the Thatched Cottage are excellent. The pool area was fantastic and much enjoyed by the whole of our 3 generation family. The house was huge and there were plenty of areas around the property to sit and relax and eat together.'

'A lovely venue for a few days R&R in this part of Dorset. The accommodation is modern, spacious and of good quality, with great on-site facilities (pool, sauna, etc). Recommended.'

'We stayed in one of the yurts there are 2. The check in instructions were very clear. The yurt was cosy especially when we lit the fire (wood provided). We had a great nights sleep. '

'The property is updated and clean. It's close to shopping and eateries. The only negative comment I have is that their website needs to update how to enter the apartment. Instead of stating to enter code and push door, tell patrons to enter door and turn knob while the button on the knob is still green. It was, honestly, a bit confusing. Other than that, everything was excellent!'

'We had 3 wonderful days in this tiny house. The owners are very friendly. The house has everything you need except WiFi inside the cabin but perfect on the porch.'

'Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. '

' A lovely time was had by all, the check in was good, there is plenty of china, cutlery, dishes etc.We used the BBQ which was a success.The outside space was brilliant the kids loved it. We had to work out how to switch on the integrated coffee machine, once we had managed that we ran out of coffee beans, there were none to refill.The chlorine level in the pool seemed to be very high, there were a lot of sore eyes.'

'This assisted living apartment is fully equipped with all conveniences. A dishwasher, washing machine, a large convection oven, microwave, coffee maker, two bathrooms, and a smart TV to watch Netflix, among other things. The soft beds are very comfortable and it's very clean. Owner Rachel lives next to the property and is particularly willing to help if needed and provides good tips for exploring the area where necessary.'

'We stayed in the Annexe for just one night on our way north and it was the perfect rest stop. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our brief stay - including milk in the fridge for morning teas. I would definitely recommend if you're visiting the area. 8 minute drive from Bruton. '
