'We had a wonderful time at your secluded cabin. It was such an awesome little lake ,so clear we watched turtles and fish. Enjoyed kayaking, swimming, bonfires and watching sunsets. Took hikes on trails and picked blueberries. Amenities should be updated to say bring own linens and towels as they are not provided. Owner did contact us few days before our stay to inform us. Hope to be able to return again in future. '

'Perfect little town for a getaway. We stayed for 3 nights and explored the area. The restaurants were great, the beaches were beautiful and the cabin was cozy to come back to. Nice and quiet, offered the right amount of privacy and the bonfire area was perfect. Highly recommend.'

About 6 miles north of Newberry so you're out of town, but not too far for a trip into town. Really good communications with the hosts (we had power outages that affected the area...

'My family stayed in a few rental properties on our first trip to the UP and this one "won" the vacation. Great kitchen/amenities, and everything we needed.Very dark @ night, very quiet, very private, very responsive hosts. Would book again in heartbeat.Only negative was Canadian wildfire smoke moved in the same day we did, otherwise the star-gazing here would be phenomenal. '

'We stayed 3 nights in this CLEAN, spacious, comfortable 3bdrm home with private backyard. This place is so peaceful, we enjoyed the back deck with chairs/table. We did not get to use the fire pit due to rain that night. The enclosed porch was a great alternative. The house is spacious, we hope to return with friends next time. Kitchen/bath have everything you will need. Check in was simple, all instructions were provided ahead of time and also onsite including local recommendations...
