Not the cleanest rooms, probably because there's no windows and it feels like it's days-old oxygen you're inhaling. We paid a lot for it, around $70 USD. If you can get a good deal then great, but def not worth that much money.

Well worth it for longer layovers. Having the ability to shower and sleep on a real bed was invaluable to us during long layovers. We used this hotel twice during our trip and was glad we did on both occasions. Rooms are simple but bathrooms are well equipped. Overall would definitely book again in the future.

The Sama- Sama is great if you have an late connecting flight, very clean, staff was great. Doors are very noisy when closed, can hear other people in rooms or corridor, which is a problem if you are trying to sleep.

The hotel was great. What wasn’t great was being awoken by a staff member at 2:15 in the morning for no reason except “oh sorry, wrong room.” However, I would recommend this hotel for overnight stays and was very pleased with the room.

I would not recommend the property. I had a very bad experience. I mistakenly booked the property through Expedia for a transit overnight at KLIA2 on Oct. 15, 2022. I was not aware that the property could only be accessed before I checked through the immigration. What I did was looked around for the location of the property after the immigration counter and could not find it. I asked a security officer, and he told me that once I was already out, I could never return the property. After I realized I straight away made cancelation both to the hotel through the link provided by Expedia and to Expedia. I never got any reply from the hotel. However, I got a chance to chat through an online platform with a unanimous Expedia agent. Similarly, I lost hope, and I lost my money by mistakenly booking it. I never got a refund, and somebody got my money without any service rendered to me.

Kindly note that, our transit hotel is suitable for a non-VISA passenger/ their checked in luggage is sent directly to the final destination (connecting flight) and layover. As for the immigration and customs, the passenger can only go thru them 3 hours before their flight. Alternatively, we have other hotel property which is located at the outside of the airport, Sama-Sama Hotel KLIA. I was informed by my team that you have reached them and we allowed you to cancel the booking with free cancellation, however, for refund process should be through Expedia platform since you've made reservation via them. Again, we hope this explanation would assist you to have a better understanding and the in case the next time that you are planning to stay with us. Till then, always take care and have a great day!

Very disappointed to have paid full price for the property being misled by promotional gimmicks of breakfast being included. Staff of Sama Sama were very accommodating and friendly. I do not think it was their fault for the misleading information. Woke up to find that breakfast is not included and that the kitchen crew has not been operating since covid. Expedia should remove the free breakfast to prevent any falsehood or misleading beliefs that will cause others to have thought that the price paid would include it.

Perfect place to rest for the a few hours. Hotel is very clean, quick checkin process. Gave us breakfast before our flight. On the way to our destination we slept on the floor. On the way back we stayed in the hotel. Best $60.00 I have ever spent. Well worth the money spent. Hot shower after a long flight and a full size bed was amazing.

The food provided was great, though the included meal was only for 1 of the 2 guests. Convenient and comfortable - made our 17 hour transit not only bearable, but actually fly by!

What we liked 1. Cleanliness and ambience of the room was very nice. What are the negatives 1. Washbasin didn't work. Reported about it. But none came. 2. Food was very average. In particular the fried rice provided was very bad. It was not even boiled properly.

Happy from the start. Inside KLIA2 & no need to go through Customs. Friendly helpful people at reception with most efficient check-in. Spotlessly clean & extremely comfortable room. Able to enjoy buffet meal at leisurely pace. Highly recommend.

空港内のトランジットホテル
空港内になるのでアクセスはいいです。簡易的なホテルなので部屋は狭いです。バスタブもありません。食事は一名分ついていましたが、内容的にはイマイチです。ただトランジットで長い時間を空港で過ごすならこのホテルで過ごすことをオススメします。個室なのでけっこう体が休まります。

We booked this transit hotel as we were flying from Perth to Langkawi via Kuala Lumpur. There was a 9 hour layover. So we saw this Transit hotel and booked it because we had come from an international flight (ie. Australia to Malaysia). However, when we arrived we were told we couldn’t check in because we were not flying on internationally from Kuala Lumpur, it was domestic to Langkawi. This was not made clear in the emails we received from them after booking through Expedia. We arrived at 9.30pm at night and we spent the best part of 3 hours trying to find somewhere else to go. In the end we found a place that charged us $140 for 5 hours compared to the $76 we had originally paid for 6 hours. Apparently the KLIA2 hotel has cancelled our reservation and has sent Expedia an email so that we can get an refund. But that doesn’t cover the additional expense or stress we had. We also never had any dinner so we were starving too. Overall pretty disappointing. Please see to it that we get our refund and make sure that the transit hotel explains the situation better at the booking stage to people so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
