Een aanrader als je Sossuvlei wilt bezoeken
De logde was super: ideaal gelegen, personeel vriendelijk (maar moet wel soms geduld hebben), de kamers zijn groot en volledig uitgericht. Alles is prachtig versierd.

This property was decent and clean and very close to the dunes entry area. Our unit was a bit of a walk away from the parking area so that was a challenge. Also, there is no wifi in the rooms (really no wifi in all of the area). You had to go to the restaurant or bar area to get wifi and that was very frustrating. I could not even make phone calls from my room without a wifi connection. I think this information should be made known ahead of time so people can prepare for that situation.

The Sossuvlei Lodge is a beautiful property, the staff we're friendly and professional. The meals are buffets with plenty of choices and good quality food. The Lodge is just outside the Sossuvlei park entrance do its conveniently located to the Dunes, Sesriem canyon and Deadvlei.

One of the best safari lodges that I have been to. Rooms are fantastic, food and service all very very good and the safari tours from the lodge one of the very best. A great place and would highly recommed it. I drove a Sedan vehicle from Walvis Bay, the road is hectic and whilst you get to see some magic places along the way, I would rather fly, there is an airport very close to the lodge.

Does this place have a health hazard ?
Good location close to entrance to national park.But our riom was infested with mosquitos; no nets or other protective measures; we got very little sleep due to constant buzzing around our heads; without exaggeration, by morning my wife had over 100 bites, I had 40. We complained but reception staff just shrugged, 'Oh, mosquitos..........'( this in an area of potential malaria risk )

Empfehlenswerte Lodge in der Wüste am Sesriem Gate
Eine sehr schöne Lodge direkt am Sesriem Gate. Die Bungalows sind schön eingerichtet, verfügen über genügend Platz und das Bett war sehr bequem. Sehr positiv empfand ich auch die Insektenschutznetze vor den zu öffnenden Fenstern. Das Dinner Buffet war wie immer sehr gut, Beim Frühstücksbuffet hätte ich mir mir mehr Auswahl beim frisch Obst gewünscht.

Leider haben sich unsere Vorstellungen nicht erfüllt. Trotz relativ weniger Gäste war das Personal heftig überfordert mit allem. Davon ausgenommen sind die Aktivitäten die sehr gut organisiert waren (fahrt in den sossisvlei, sundowner). Die Bungalows sind sehr neu und schön. Dennoch fragen wir uns warum man hier Badewannen in riesigen Bädern eingebaut hat und die Terrassen so winzig sind. Das Essen einschließlich Frühstück ist eine mittlere Katastrophe und es ist völlig unverständlich warum das so ist. Man kann auch mit weniger Mitteln sehr gut arbeiten (Siehe corona guest farm, le mirage etc). Insgesamt ist es überteuert und nicht empfehlenswert. Leider.

A good option right outside the park gate.
This is a really good option if you want to see the Sossusvlei and don't want to self-cater. The rooms are excellent, as are the tour services (spectacular morning trip to Sossusveli and Deadvlei!). The food is good, but not great. All in all, a good option.

We liked everything about this property. There is nothing not to like. From our room we could watch the animals roaming around the desert. The rooms are well thought out and spacious. We were in a very quiet room furthest out which we appreciated.

Empfehlenswerte Lodge am Parkeingang nach Sossusvl
Schöne und gepflegte und saubere Lodge. Sehr freundliches Personal. Gut gelegen bei Parkeingang nach Sossusvlei. Essen mit sehr gutem Buffet, viel Fleischauswahl. Werner, unser Hotel-Tour-Guide hat es ausgezeichnet gemacht, freundlich, bescheiden und sehr hilfsbereit. Danke Werner! Wir hatten die einfachste Zimmerkategorie, die am Rand der Lodge liegt und damit wenig Passanten hat und schöne und private Aussichten auf die Wüste bietet. Die Einrichtung war ausgezeichnet und gut im Schuss.
