The apartment is suitable for a stay in Seville. It is certainly rougher than the photos make it appear. Part of that is the scam that is photography, and part of it is European building standards, and incredibly old/historic buildings. The host was was pleasant to deal with, and got us checked in straight away. After check-in he was moderately responsive. Two of our four mornings we were awakened to loud construction. One day was a pipe that was worked on in the neighboring building. The next was the downstairs neighbor doing some sort of furniture refinishing with a sander. The building across the street is being remodeled as well. None of these were the fault of the host, but folks who are looking to stay here should know that this will be going on for the foreseeable future. As Americans, one of the challenging/fun aspects of travelling in Spain are the late meals/late nights. The 9:00-11:00 p.m. meals, sights, and sounds lose their luster when the jackhammering starts at 7:00 a.m.The apartment is a little rough around the edges. It was clean enough, but the shower situation, like much of Europe, takes a little getting used to. There is really only one shower that is usable in the apartment, the other being too small to turn around in without hitting the shower handle. The kitchen was fine. We did lose power a few times, but it was restored quickly. The building felt safe, the location could not be beat.
