'I am a local in the area and rented the cabin for family to stay for a long weekend to attend our daughter's graduation party. Our stay was great. The owners have done a wonderful job keeping the charm of a vintage Balsam Lake cabin. I was a little concerned at first when pulling into the secluded roadway, because there are a few poorly conditioned homes before arriving to the rental cabin. Rest assued, once at the cabin, the beauty of the lake and charm of the cabin more than makes up for it....

'The lake cabin was a wonderful retreat for our family reunion July 1-8, 2025. We are so happy we rented the pontoon! We enjoyed fishing throughout the week, but the perfect catch was a surprise to all of us when our nieces boyfriend got down on one knee and proposed marriage to her while 4th of July fireworks were going off overhead around the lake. 'This is a beautiful cabin located out in the country but still close enough to town if you need to get anything. The cabin is furnished with everything you need. Just need to bring your food. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here and will stay there again. The host is quick to respond with any questions and is very nice. Would highly recommend staying here. '

'My husband and 3 kids uner 8 stayed here for 6 days and we absolutely loved it! The pennisula/point is a little sandbar which was perfect for our kids. The water surrounding is shallow and warm. Not a super busy lake either. Theres a literal babbling brook along side the cabin and you can hear it from the deck. The amenities were fantastic. We don't rent many private places so i wasnt sure what all would be provided but there was plenty of towels, beach towels, blankets/sheets/pillows, more than...
